Always love this place. People tend to focus on the terrace, but the pub is cozy quiet and friendly. Great selection of beer and some good food options although their hard spirits offerings are limited.

Edit: Second experience was a big success. Excellent little menu. Good service and comfortable setting. Experience ruined by a thoughtless group that crowded in against our table for no justifiable reason considering the place was mostly empty. Servers did nothing about it. Were told no food available, and then the same group got served natchos and we were then told, yes actually there is that available by the new server. Not really many special brews available, one smoky Stout and an alright tangerine IPA which would have benefitted from a mix with the grapefruit IPA but, of course, it wasn't available. Not impressed with the first experience at this very standard pub, needs better management. Aside from that the selection of spirits is short but decent. Might give it a second chance.

The staff really takes care of their patrons. They are not short sighted. Winning life long customers is their gsme. The bar is cozy and you can be private. The summer terasse is huge and lively. They also have experimental beers on tap like a maple brown the last time i was there. Dont skip this brewery. Good is fantastic pub fair as well. Atoine took great care of us.

A pub in the truest sense, a warm friendly place. Not an extensive menu, but the Nachos, the steak pie, the snack platter were all reasonably priced and delicious. Excellent Beer with great variety, whiskey and rum.

This is such a comfortable little gem of a bar. It's decked out in dark, thick wood, it has a few screens with sports and stuff but not loud. The music was classic rock, which beats club stuff and sets a better mood. The staff are exemplary. Being the St-Ambroise brewery obviously means that the beer is fresh and delicious. They seem to cycle showcasing certain less-common beers, so that's cool too. It's on the smaller side, though, so groups and very young drinkers might get bad looks for being rowdy and changing the good atmosphere this place has. I like it a lot.

Place is spacious and good one to hangout in summer, with a good view. There’s only beer & wine available on the menu though.. cocktails / gin is in the takeout menu and I don’t think you can drink that inside.. food was below average- we took salsa with nachos, literally it was unseasoned and not tasty & we couldn’t eat it.. I’d prefer an other place next time

Excellent and cozy atmosphere with quality furnishings. It has an English Pub vibe to it. It is in a rougher part of town but you'll be pleasantly surprised once you walk in. Simple menu with good food. Excellent staff, very polite and respectful. They had forgotten my order but when I notified them they apologized numerous times and my dish was free!

If you like St-Ambroise beer and decent pub grub, it's a perfectly good watering hole. Personally, the layout and lighting don't work for my taste. I much prefer the large outdoor terrace the St-Ambroise brewery provides around the corner, looking out over the Lachine Canal. That's a great place to be come summer. But if you crave their beer over the winter months, L'Annexe is a decent compromise
