★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to share with other families that might be considering working with Dr. Buzanko how deeply thankful we are to be working with her. We have seen multiple "helpers" over the years, but none as skilled and insightful as Caroline. Our family feels she is truly exceptional at what she does and it is obvious every time we meet that she is personally as well as professionally dedicated to helping families and kids reach their fullest potential. She has a very expansive understanding of ADHD and anxiety and is profoundly wise in how she adapts that understanding to our family's challenges. She helps us discover and develop strengths and use those strengths to develop realistic and achievable goals. Not to say "it's easy"... but sometimes if kind of feels easier, because she is able to put things into a language that makes it "click." Maybe one of my favourite things is that she is very straightforward and does not sugar coat things. If we're making mistakes (as we all do!) or if we are practicing behaviours or approaches that are not useful or wise, she tells us like it is and does not mince words! And while no one likes to be told they are being unwise, and it sometimes can be hard to hear, none of us has ever felt "judged" by her. She does a very good job of holding up the proverbial mirror and making sure we actually look at it! Never harsh, but always intensely honest. We have found it hard to trust therapists in the past, but we wholeheartedly trust Caroline. I really cannot express enough gratitude for her support, skill, passion and dedication.
