Thought gel manicure was $35 as listed on their website but got charged $40 even though I just got a solid colour with no add ons... They have a coupon for $5 off on their website but apparently it's only for new customers even though it doesn't say anywhere ? For the same price or a little higher I recommend Q nails.
J	Jordan Latour on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a friend do my braids for free before. I came here as they were out of town and wanted to get braids done and haircut elsewhere. The braids I asked for weren’t done like the photo I provided. And $40 for 2 braids is an absolute rip off. Never going back

My nails literally never chip between visits and the shaping is really even, something that other salons never got right in the past. I will truly miss the excellent service here when I move away from Edmonton!
D	Darling Champagne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually follow reviews to a 'T', and on yelp Kool Nails isn't rated too highly. I was a bit hesitant but the person I was being treated by chose the place and so I hoped for the best. I was HIGHLY impressed! Not only with the quality of work (I asked for medium length, stiletto shaped, burgundy coloured nails with a matte top coat and two gems) and he, (the owner), immediately got to work and did so very well. Although english is obviously not the couple's first language there is no one speaking anything but. They were incredibly friendly and made it a point to engage and chat, but also respecting that not everyone enjoys chitchat. It's been just over three weeks since I had them done and they're still solid as a rock! The gems fell out quickly but I had quite a few hot baths so I blame that for weakening the glue. My colour and top coat hasn't faded at all and for the first time on any set of gel nails I've ever had I'll be going back to have a fill-in this week. The only criticisms I have are that the pedicure chairs and washroom are not accessible to mobility aid uses (such as myself), and also that there was no real "manicure" (pushing back of cuticles, cleaning of nails, lotion afterwards) but rather just a tradesman's job. Which is fine, but it's always nice to feel like the treat you're paying for is actually a pampering.
C	Chantel Brulotte on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got me and a wedding party in at very short notice. He was able to do all of us one after another. He did an amazing job! Nails are a great shape, not too thick, and so easy to get used to, polish and gel are perfect. He really knows his stuff!!!
C	Chelsea A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here yesterday for a regular pedicure. I wasn't too pleased with the quality of the job (for ex: there was still a lot of dead skin on my heels). On top of that, the technician didn't seem to be taking too much care when he was removing my callouses; he scraped a little too hard so now I have two blisters. Long story short, I've gotten much better pedicures at other salons. I must say though that the staff are very friendly and nice so that's a plus!

I wanted them small and long up to my bum. I am tender headed but tell me why I did not feel any pain during my installation & my edges were treated with care to make sure that I’ll still have them when I take down the hairstyle. Furthermore, you are welcomed and treated like family to the point where you forget you’re even a customer. I love their professionalism and the fact that “they put the client first above everything & they make sure you leave with not only the style you asked for, BUT SATISFIED!” I have never received as much compliments as I have had with this hairstyle. I am so excited to have become a forever customer. Do yourself a major service and try them out. It was the best money I have ever spent + they do everything which means you don’t even have to make multiple appointments in different locations for your beauty needs. It is a one stop shop. In conclusion, if I could give them a million stars I would. I love my hair, I love the service and their location is easy to find as well. Ladies please go and find out for yourselves. You will not be disappointed & you will leave looking and feeling absolutely FANTASTIC!
