Adara Hair & Body Studio - Edmonton

I’ve been going to Adara for the last few years and I have always been very happy with my experience and, most importantly, with my hair. I’ve been to a few different stylists and they always create a warm and welcoming environment. I really appreciate their efforts to keep us all safe with their high standards for infection control in light of our COVID world. Love you Adara, keep being awesome!

I had my first appointment with Emily! She was kind & took everything I said seriously. We worked together to come up with a haircut that fit my vision and would look good on me. She has such amazing energy and I can't wait to go back to Adara!

My experiences at Adera are always so comfortable and professional. I choose the new location to go to now since it's so close to my home. It's beautiful and big and bright. I feel they should have some kind of blinds that can be pulled down to help with the evening sun sets The last time I wthere I felt like I needed my sunglasses on while getting my haircut. . Other than that t hey have the most beautiful plants all over and it looks so fresh and modern.

I typically go to my sister's salon. However, she works in Westmount and I don't drive, so I thought I'd give Adara a try. Their website was easy to navigate, and I particularly liked that they had photos and bios for the stylists and office staff. The online booking system was easy to use, and their cancellation policies are more than reasonable. When I arrived, I had a bit of trouble finding it because I initially went through the door on 96 Street when I should have used the door on 82 Avenue - the confusion arose because the sign for the salon is on the 96 Street side of the building. Once I figured out which door I was to use, finding the salon was very easy. The parking situation can be tricky, so be aware. The salon appeared clean and well-lit when I arrived, and the receptionist (I want to say his name was Luigi, but I don't know if that is correct) greeted me in a friendly manner. I didn't have to wait long, which was nice. Not a ton of seating but they also don't have a large reception area. I had made an appointment with Brooklyn, who has been working there for about three years. She is such a doll! Super friendly, and did exactly what I asked for her. The product she used in my hair during washing and styling smelled amazing. She was mindful to ask questions throughout the service, and we had a lovely little chat. She wasn't super pushy about selling product, or trying to upsell me on another service. Including product and a 20% tip, I paid about $160 for everything, which was great. I will definitely be back.

Ly is a fantastic stylist, they always do a great job. The entire team is friendly and very helpful, it’s always a pleasure to come to Adara. I’ve recommended them to several of my friends and family as the best place to go!

I got a lot of compliment with my new hairstyle thanks to Brooklyn B. for making it happened. Love the interior, the plant parent inside me is super impressed! The receptionist could loosen up a little thou, its probably because I was a new costumer other than that it was a great experience.

I would highly recommend Emily at Adara. I've been seeing her for close to a decade now and have always been happy with her work. She's also a great conversationalist and a joy to talk to. The whole team at Adara is great, although I haven't had the chance to meet everyone. Reid, the salon coordinator, communicates quickly about changes to appointments and always sends reminders of upcoming appointments.

Super professional and quality experience! I brought my 9 year old daughter for her first real haircut (we've done some trimming by ourselves at home) and sought out Ly at Adara for a bit of an unique style. I absolutely loved how she engaged with my daughter in an attentive and genuine manner. She listened carefully to her wishes and gave her the exact haircut she wanted. Adara is uniquely located on the precipice of Mill Creek in a surprisingly ordinary office building BUT the salon itself is bright and charming with lots of plants and has a great energy! Highly recommend.
