★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place. It was my first time visiting and I'm hooked. It's a small venue that is easily missed. If I wasn't invited I would have never known it existed. Great acoustics, great live music and great beer. Definitely will be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome but be aware that it can get loud. However it is run like a family operated music venue and the quality of libations and the venue is top notch compared to some dives I have been to as a music patron since 1973. They are fully aware that the client wants to go and get absorbed in the music and they let you do that. The crowd was sweet and polite and seemed to be non judgmental of the variety of types in quotes that showed up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time at the venue, it feels quite cozy like someone friend's basement. There's not too much seating so it feels a little more intimate. Acoustics are kinda terrible at times with sound mixing but it's the best they can do in a small space. Staff were Friendly and the bathroom was quite clean. Overall cute little establishment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lacking in the airflow department, as most basement venues go. However the Alberta chiptune show was great, with nice staff and a very down-home feel about it all. It was nice to lose myself in the spirit of the show

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This venue is one of my favourite places in town. They host all kinds of events, usually live music, but also have spoken word poetry, workshops, video game nights, and markets. The staff is all incredibly wonderful and super accepting and LGBTQ+ friendly. The price to get in is usually $10, but have a pay what you can policy. No one gets turned away. They have the best homeade and personalized grilled cheese sandwiches. The staff also makes an effort to get to know their patrons and regulars on a personal level. They make everyone feel safe amd comfortable. They also have gender neutral single stall washrooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome little venue for shows and events! Don’t be unnerved by the sketchy back door as it is awesome. I was here for an evening of poetry and it was amazing. It is a super fun space with a great atmosphere. The alcohol selection is great and there is a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks too!

Relaxed atmosphere..non judgmental-people play what they like, jam how they want and its somehow a wonderful harmony of worlds colliding. If you're lucky enough to attend this hidden gem that focuses BIG on under the radar talent I guarantee you'll find something you like.
