I have been with Koodo for years. But it's obvious they have made changes that are degrading their customer service outlets. Everything must be done online yourself or called in. I got locked out of my account because I had an older email I no longer used attached to my account. So when I got logged out (I usually just have the app which keeps me logged in) I couldn't retrieve, verify nor change my password. I went in to ask them to change my email on my account. The customer service agents don't even bother helping, they pretty much say its not their job. So don't bother going in unless you need to buy a phone. And I'm not even sure its worth that now because of the experience my boyfriend and I just had. His phone contract was up and he wanted to switch providers. Koodo does have good plans and if you call in they do have good service so we went in to get him a phone. After picking out a phone and a plan, the lady said he needed a credit check done to see what type of Tab plan he could get approved for. That's new and fine. He gladly handed over two government issued ID's as she requested. She then went on to say that one of the ID's had to be his SIN card. Now that is not Ok. Koodo has no right just as no one outside of the bank, government or your employer to ask for a SIN number. He said no of course, offered other forms of verification but she denied us service and said that he couldn't get approved. That is ridiculous. We quickly went somewhere else. And he got the phone he wanted at a better price with a case and NO credit check. Though the check wasn't the issue. I get it, its for security. But they shouldn't be asking for someones personal SIN. And I hope people are not falling for this scam. Best Buy, and Walmart to name a few do credit checks in store as well to approve laptop financing and new credit cards but they don't need a SIN. The girl that helped us isn't to blame, that's how she was trained, though her attitude about it was not professional. This has put a sour taste in our mouths and it is enough that I will probably switch to another provider myself despite being with Koodo over 6 years.

I walked in knowing what I wanted and walked away with a new phone and a killer plan that saves me a tonne of money. They switched me over from another provider, walked me through the first month's bill, got my phone set up and I was on my way. Least painful cellphone shopping experience I've had

Well im not very happy with the service i received from this place. Got a phone from ahmed lg g4 and was excited he seemed like a good person told me a bunch of accessories were free with my phone he did not mention that I was supposed to get $200 worth of prepaid visas. He also wanted me if I want the added protection plan I said nope. Checked my bill today and sure enough even though I said no about 5 times the protection plan was on there. Long story short this is my first time with Koodo and it will probably already be the last time because of this guy I was supposed to get $200 worth of visas but instead he gave me a bunch of junk for my phone that I didn't and a protection plan that I didn't need also on my receipt he marked it down that I got the visas. A very very condecending location.

This kiosk has the worst customer service. They have 5 people working, no customers. When one customer is unhappy and doesnt feel they are getting helped and doesnt feel any positivity or team work. The rest of the staff doesnt help. If you are having a very bad day and having a hard time. They are not empathetic and cannot calm a mad frustrated customer. They dont care to make sales. They throw a long term customer away for being stressed and for being upset about their customer service. Also Koodo does not Commit. No commitment. Its their new advertisements. I think this kiosk should close because they have given bad customer service for quite some time to customers. They should not be working there. Their customer service is horrible. Shut down that kiosk. Look at your bad reviews here. Stop attacking and pushing away long term customers, losing long term customers. If you cant deal with an angry customer. Then get some help from your team too help you. I will tell the corporate office about this kiosk and the sales reps. I am tired of your bad service. I already spoke to technical supports. You are doing a bad job. People lose their jobs for giving bad customer service. You cant choose to dislike a customer and tell them to leave koodo. Not to someone who thought you couldnt help them and was very upset. Stressed as well. I will tell everyone to go to another kiosk.

Doris and I were delighted with the focused customer attention we received from Autumn, yesterday. She was very helpful in helping select the appropriate plan that we had been looking for and was very nice to set us up to go. Bravo.

Jessie was super helpful and personable. He answered all my questions and not only helped me with a phone plan but also gave me 20% off on a new phone case, screen protector, and charged cable. Plus I’ve been with Koodo for years and I’ve always bragged about how well their service works... even in the mountains.

Make sure to double check the intelligence of your sales rep. Was told I could install 512gb SD card in the S21. After getting it home I realized THERE IS NO EXPANDABLE MEMORY PORT ON THE PHONE! Beyond disappointed

Useless staff (I'm sure they have some decent people working too; whoever was working April 15th, 2022 at 11:30am, you three are useless). Just want a commission from forcing you to upgrade your phone plan when it's not required. Just use the website and save yourself some time and money. Never have I almost got into yelling match with a sales rep actively trying to rip me off. Wow. Saved $290 using the website and not listening to the sales people. They basically steal the minimum wage they're paid to fulfill a core function and only do work that results in a commission.
