Sade was amazing and was so helpful with my wardrobe makeover and especially the personal shopping. I had lost some weight after gaining quite a bit after having 3 kids and felt like I was losing my style. She understood exactly what I was looking for. I also don’t enjoy shopping but she made it so much fun! It is a great deal for all the advice and ideas she has. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Sade had exactly the right energy to make the whole process fun but not overwhelming or stressful. I ended up feeling great about the new clothes we found, and I was surprised to be shown new ways to wear some clothes I already had.

Meeting Sade was an incredible experience. She was so helpful in putting together items I already had in my closet to create incredible outfits that I would never have thought to pair together. I loved how she took the time to understand my lifestyle when creating looks for me. I felt great in the outfits she suggested and would highly recommend her services. She is someone I would definitely reach out to again to help edit my closet and have as a personal shopper.

Working with Sade was such an amazing experience. At first, I didn't really know what to expect since I wasn't familiar with the concept of personal stylists and what they're capable of doing. I tend to wear the same outfits because I'm not as creative when it comes to layering and mixing and matching clothing items. When Sade came over and looked at my closet, she started putting together items that I have never worn before using what I already had. I got really excited because it felt like I went shopping for new clothes! This experience made me want to be more creative with fashion. I definitely recommend Knit Me Up :)

This was my first time working with a stylist or personal shopper. I found Sade through a basic Google search and I’m so glad I did. The whole experience was utterly fantastic. Sade is a real pleasure to work with: warm, kind, encouraging, non-judgmental, enthusiastic. And she has superb style, of course! Sade never made me feel that my body “should” be more like this or like that - she met me exactly where I am with the body that I have and she has helped me feel so stylish and beautiful. I also found it easy to set my own boundaries with Sade which she then effortlessly respected and accommodated. I learned so much during the wardrobe edit! It changed the whole way I see my existing clothes and how to pair things together. Who knew all those unexpected combinations were just sitting in there waiting to be found! The shopping was so much fun. No pressure, only encouragement and coaxing me a little outside my comfortable fashion ruts. Sade is SO resourceful! I couldn’t believe how precise her eye was for finding colours and styles and fits that would flatter me. I’ve always felt the mall is full of clothes that just won’t fit - turns out that’s not true at all!! One of the best things was that at the end, Sade puts all your chosen items on hold for you and lets you decide what you will come back and buy on your own. I really appreciated this no-pressure way so that in the end I didn’t have to apologize or give my reasons for any of my choices. Sade is great to work with. She is friendly, responsive and a clear communicator. I very much hope circumstances will allow me to work with her again - but if this is only a one-time thing, it has still been hugely worth it! I’ve learned so much and she has given me so much encouragement be confident in my skin! I am 40, Caucasian, a professional in the creative/social services / adult ed world. I’m tall and curvy. Sade was amazing for me - I’d highly recommend her for basically anyone!

If you know me, you know fashion and shopping are not my thing. In fact, I claimed I didn’t care how I looked. Truth was if I acted like I didn’t care, there would be no standard I would have to bring myself to live up to. But a funny thing happened when I started on my health and fitness journey, all those years ago. I thought I started that journey to lose weight. Little did I know that those daily habits that I created over time would boost my confidence and help me realize that I deserved to show up for me in a way that I was proud of! So, just for fun, I googled “Stylists in Calgary” I didn’t think I could actually afford a stylist but searched anyway. I think sometimes we assume that we can’t afford something or that certain things are for other people, not us, even without actually finding out what is involved! Turns out I could afford it and I am worthy of high standards! These ladies from @knitmeup.style came to my house and cleaned out my closet. Just like Stacy and Clinton on What Not To Wear! They taught me so much. What looks good on me, what doesn’t. Latest trends and classic pieces. They also pushed me to step out of my fashion comfort zone of leggings and tank tops. And to stop waiting for a special occasion to wear heals, or that fancy outfit! Ladies we need to celebrate ourselves every damn day!!! Yesterday I had personal fitting of outfits they pre-shopped for me. So much fun! I walked out of there feeling proud, confident and worthy! Know that you are never to old and it’s never too late to do the things you have always wanted to do!!!

What an absolutely incredible experience! I have always struggled with fashion, shopping and wearing clothes that highlight my body. I have been joking for years with my family about how I need to work with a personal stylist. I didn’t even think that would be possible until my sister got me the best Christmas present ever- Sade’s personal styling services!! I didn’t know what to expect, but I was so excited to try this experience. Right from our first phone call, Sade was so warm and friendly. She really listened to what my goals were for this experience. She’s the perfect combination of respecting where you’re at with your body and challenging you to try something new. She also respects your budget and shops the bracket that is comfortable for your price point. Sade is also very honest which I really appreciated wanting genuine feedback on my wardrobe and how things looked on me. It feels like shopping with your best friend! Sade and her assistant Abbie are a fantastic team! Highly organized, personable, detail orientated and hard working. You can tell they have such a passion for what they do and they are both so talented. I learned so much about what styles work and don’t work for my body. I had so much fun with the try on experience! They made a personal playlist on my favorite songs and I was able to invite my family to come and help me pick from the outfits they selected for me! I had such an amazing day, it was such a positive experience for me as I have been self conscious of my body for years. I cannot say enough good things about Knit Me Up! I hope to work with Sade and Abbie again in the future. If you are looking for that perfect, thoughtful and meaningful gift for a loved one, this is it!! One of the best things I’ve ever done! Thank you so much Sade and Abbie for everything!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Sade at Knit Me Up. I’ve always struggled with fashion, but after a pandemic, starting a new stage of life, and having 2 kids in two years, I was left feeling lost with my personal style. I quickly found myself hating my entire closet and wasting money on clothes that never got worn. An incredible friend recognized my rut, and gifted me Sade’s personal styling services as a birthday gift. From the beginning, Sade was incredible to work with. During the initial phone call, she not only listened to my style goals, but took the time to get to know details pertaining to my everyday life, which she later used to curate the experience and outfits for me. The wardrobe edit was where I began to get nervous, as I truly believed I had nothing worth keeping around in my closet. However, when Sade and her assistant, Abbie walked into my home, they were so warm and personable, I immediately felt like they were two old friends that I trusted completely. This lead me to really relax and keep an open mind, and ultimately discover that I not only had worthy clothing items in my closet, but multiple outfits I’ve grown to love! Next up was the part I was looking forward to the most - the personal shopping session. It was SO much fun to get out for the morning, hang out and try on some clothes! Sade and Abbie encouraged me to try new things, but remained respectful of my comfort level. They pre shopped pieces for me that I could create new outfits from, but also work in to my existing wardrobe. At the end, I was able to go through the items on my own and choose what I wanted to purchase without feeling any pressure. I left feeling confident and excited, with the tools I need for the journey ahead with my wardrobe. Sade and Abbie are efficient, professional, friendly, passionate and incredibly talented at what they do. Thank you so much for everything, I cannot put into words what a life changing experience this was for me. If you are considering Knit Me Up, DO IT!
