★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes it’s hard trying to patronize a local business when they don’t seem to appreciate you trying to do so. KMS Tools are lucky to be the only business of its sort in Kelowna, if there was another they probably wouldn’t survive. This year I purchased a table saw, jointer, and a couple of dust collectors, each purchase required numerous trips to KMS because of poor customer service to complete each purchase. Finally on the table saw purchase I met the store manager, Dennis. This was the third visit on the table saw, he promised to do something special for me because of all the frustration, I’m still waiting to see what that is. Secondly the tills at the front of the store are a colossal bottle neck staffed by cashiers that seem to be indifferent to you even being there doing business. Not welcoming at all!
I’ve spent a lot of money this year at KMS Tools, putting everything aside I probably am going to start dealing with other retailers online or planning major purchasing trips to the coast or into Alberta in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff to busy doing nothing to pull the autobody stand from the palett from the back, despite webside showing that they have them on stock...drove 2 hours today...now they saying come back tomorrow....you guys don't respect customers at all...few months ago bought the engine stand ...had to wait 4 weeks...tk cancel order as they had to far to ship one from Kamloops....bad business

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place! The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I came in not knowing exactly what I need and basically only having a spare part in my hands. The staff member was very knowledgeable and explain to me the parts that I need to buy. He found all of them for me and explain how to put them on. Thank you very much for making my life much easier. I know have a working air compressor in my office!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for help in the welding section, ask for Libor. He went out of his way to help me, is extremely knowledgeable, and gets back to you in a timely fashion. I love this store because all the staff have been very personable and professional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store has good selection. That's it. Worst excuse for customer service I've ever seen. Went there today and there were 3 people behind the counter and a lineup. Nobody in line was being served, the one register open had the cashier on the phone, nobody even acknowledged me. Waited in line for over ten minutes, the people behind me threw their stuff in a bin and left.
When the lady finally got off the phone, I discovered the items I wanted to purchase were mislabeled and $35 more each.
Left without buying anything, wasted half hour of my time. What a joke this place is.
