I rarely take the time to do a review but this was a pleasant experience. Professional staff at front desk and excellent customer service with the surgical staff. Dr Kevin Lung is an expert in his field and handled the removal of my four wisdom teeth. My case was challenging and the instructions given were clear and I understood what I needed to do to assist in healing well "didn't have to hear twice". Doing everything they told me to do. I did have to wait a longer time than expected to get in to do surgery but didn't even matter when service was complete. Very happy with this experience

TL;DR: Avoid Doctor Matthew B. Fay Not TL;DR: I went in for surgery yesterday (May 18) and honestly am so extremely disappointed in the skill of the Surgeon and the Anesthesiologist. The Anesthesiologist over numbed me to such an extent that over 30 hours post-surgery my entire face is still numb and I had had to go to the ER to ensure I wasn't having an adverse reaction because when we spoke to Kingsway about the concern, they just waved us off. They did that to all of our concerns. I'm not super confident in a doctor that when I ask him, "What's the worst-case scenario here" and he says, "There really isn't one," but I need to eat, so I went ahead with the surgery. $16,000 bill later, and, holy cow the problems I've had. My regular dentist had to pull out three root shards and re-suture four exposed sockets that the surgeon failed to tie the sutures for properly. So I was left with threads hanging down my throat. On top of that, they clearly maltreated me while I was unconscious. I have severe neck and back pain that I did not have pre-surgery. To top all of this off, I expressed to the Doctor EXPLICITLY that I am disabled and on Alberta Adult Health Benefits, and whatever he prescribes to me MUST be covered by that benefit. Despite my instructions, he prescribed me Opioids (which I asked him specifically not to do) and prescribed me THE ONLY OPIOID NOT COVERED BY MY BENEFITS!!! Kingsway OMFS gets some kickback from drug manufacturers, clearly. So now, I have no money for food this month because I had to spend a fortune on medication I needed but couldn't afford. Because the Doctor didn't listen to my concerns, didn't take me seriously, and didn't put in enough care for his patient. I will be exploring my legal options for compensation for this malpractice.

I've suffered with TMJ issues for years, I finally had my dentist refer my to Dr. Clayton Davis. I had done some research on TMJ Specialists in the area and I had decided this is who I wanted to see. Dr. Davis and his team were very friendly and compassionate. After my initial consult (October) things were inconclusive and I needed to have an MRI done, which did have a very long waiting list. I opted to pay for a private MRI (November). This provided enough insight that Dr. Davis was able to definitively suggest a TMJ Arthroscopy to remove scar tissue that had formed in my left joint. I was able to get in for Surgery in February. The staff were very professional and made sure that I was taken care of before and after surgery. Afterwards the staff were always available by phone for any questions. I had a 1 month, 3 month and 6 month follow-up and my yearly will be shortly. Right away I noticed a difference in mobility and pain. Scarring essential doesn't exist. The incisions were so small that you can't even notice the small dots on my jawline. 1 year out after all the healing the difference is night and day. I no longer have pain and can eat normally again. I highly recommend Dr. Davis and the clinic.

I just had my wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday...the procedure went fine and the recovery has been going well so far. However the wait time was much longer than expected and there was a lot paperwork to fill out, it would of been nice if some of the paperwork could be done online... aside from the wait time everything else went smoothly and I would still highly recommend this place.

I cannot talk highly enough about the experience I had with Dr Forrest and his associates at KOMS. Always advised me about each step and was willing and able to address any concerns or questions I had. Never been more at ease before major surgery or after. His staff and himself are consummate professionals. Anyone who is upset with timelines and wait times does not understand how the medical system functions. Again, I would recommend Dr Forrest and his staff to anyone! Top level and awesome experience. He doesn't just look at the appearance side of things but also how to improve quality of life. You're lucky if you get to come here!

I found all the nurses/techs very helpful and kind. Had to get the surgery to get all four wisdom teeth out (two not out yet) had great after care instructions, warm blanket before my surgery, got to keep my teeth, and awesome nurses who walked me out to my husband. Not bad bruising at my IV spot, and I bruise easily! I came prepared to give little Tupperware keychains to the nurses if they were nice and I’m happy to say I gave to them! 10/10

I had surgery on my lower jaw March 2022 and couldn't be happier with the results and process. Dr. Lung planned the process extensively, executed it with perfection and was kind and compassionate through the whole process. The company provided very clear specific instructions that allowed me to come out of the surgery with very little swelling or bruising. That being said I tried to follow the instructions to a t as well. I am now able to breath better, I am not choking as much in everyday situations. My boyfriend is also very happy I don't snore anymore. Thank you to all the staff and Dr. Lung. You were all amazing.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I had the worst experience with my surgery in December. I arrived on time only to spend 3 hours filling paperwork and waiting. The surgery itself only took an hour. I had 4 teeth extracted and an impacted tooth in my palette removed. I had fasted from the previous night and my surgery took place in the afternoon. I was put under anesthesia for the surgery. As soon as I woke up, I was given antibiotics and only two sips of juice. My friend came to pick me up and the nurse was trying to get rid of me as quickly as possible giving me no time to recover. I ended up fainting in the pharmacy as I was trying to get pain medications. This happened as a result of having very low blood pressure from the surgery. This is completely unacceptable. Luckily, I did not experience any head traumas or injuries. However, the lack of consideration and care for the patient is very dangerous and could have led to serious injuries. Following this preventable incident, I tried informing the clinic but they kept me on hold for over an hour on the phone and eventually disconnected the line. I am deeply concerned that this might happen to someone else and they might get hurt. I am extremely dissatisfied with the treatment I received and with the unprofessional behaviour displayed by the nurses. Please DO NOT go here.
