★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical tiny Japanese style pasta. The specials are a bit pricy , however, I was happy with the amount of roasted duck I got in my pasta. Come early when it's not busy, otherwise the wait time could be looooong, not just for the seat but also for your food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asian way of cooking pasta, very authentic and very good. No vegan or vefitarian unfortunately, but pescatarian friendly. If you are lactose intolerant, let the lady know nondairy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been meaning to go to this place for a while, but just never made it until now. The restaurant itself is pretty much a hole-in-the-wall, but the food was amazing! Usually I don't order bread, however when we smelled the focaccia bread at the two tables next to us we couldn't resist. My sister had the spaghetti with smoked salmon and wasabi aoli and I had the linguine with Dungeness crab in a coconut curry sauce. Both were delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little casual place in South Burnaby area. It’s hidden in a small complex. We went right after it opened so it was pretty quiet. The service was a little slow since there was only one chef, but the food was definitely worth the little wait. I also thought the price was on par wit the quality and the portion. I had the dunguness crab curry pasta and it was nothing like I’ve had before. I was pleased to see lots of real crab meat in the dish and curry flavour was not something I had experienced before. I can imagine this place getting pretty busy during peak hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kin and Emi serve up quality Italian and Continental food with some Asian influences.
Portions are generous and Kin is a fantastic chef with a real sense of flair in the execution
of each dish. He has studied and worked under one of the best Italian Chefs in town. It gets quite busy there and it is a smaller establishment so be prepared to wait , sometimes. They often do a roaring takeout business. Top choices include Lobster with Spaghetti, Duck confit with Spaghetti, Seafood Linguini (Scallops, Prawns, Clams, Mussels and Squid with Parmedan Cheese and Kin's Peperoni or Hawaiian Pizza.
Kin is especially adept at Seafood dishes.
Always check the daily specials, too.
Recently I had a delicious Octopus Putanesca Spaghetti that was so flavourful.
I also really like Kin's deserts which usually alternate between Tiramisu and Crème Brulee.
Kin's Focaccia Bread is amazing with Olive oil and Vinegar
The Spaghetti with a custard, cheese sauce called Carbonara is very good and a nice change from Tomato sauce.
Today, I had something from the daily specials.
It was Ox tongue with linguine in a Hunter Sauce. Truly savoury and delicious.
