★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pasta is good value, $12 for a pasta and with big portion is totally worth it.
The only criticism I have is to serve the pasta hot. The penne was room temperature on its way to cold.
I would recommend heating your plates up when serving to preserve some of the heat since it seems they are heavily understaffed ...
The carbonara has green peas in it, surprisingly the texture is quite nice!
I recommend this place if you are craving pasta and don't want to break the wallet :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered 2 times from this store. The first time, they sent me someone else's order which was completely different from what I ordered. The second time, they sent me pasta without the sauce. Can you imagine getting just boiled pasta and vegetables?! This was such a bad experience and I won't order from this restaurant now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the lowkey experience\ vibes, food is amazing and phenomenal at the price point. We got the salmon fettucine alfredo and shrimp pesto alfredo. The sauce is flavourful and creamy. They are generous with their cheese and the whole resturant just makes you feel comfortable and at home. Server brings out these cute placemats for you before the meal is served. You can also build your own pasta dishes. The only problem is the lack of convinent parking. The front has 3 metered parking spots but the back does not deisgnate spots for the pasta bar. Had a hard time parking

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love how you creat your own preferences.You can't go wrong with that.Taste so good .It's a big portion that i can only eat half of my plate and try their garluc bread.The price is very reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a pesto pasta and a pesto cream pasta. Looking at the other reviews, it might've just been an off day for the chefs since the chicken breast, mushroom, and my pesto pasta was close to flavorless. We had to add a copious amount of salt; since the pastas were so bland, I have to give two stars.
Would love to be proven wrong and give you guys more stars since the service provided by the staff was great. Cashier was super polite and washroom/store was very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is an absolute delight. You won’t get better custom pasta for even close to this price, anywhere in the country. I have long been a satisfied customer and huge fan of Basil Pasta Bar on Davie downtown, now I found it’s sister on Kingsway in Burnaby (across from Central Park). FYI…the house salad is awesome too!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the lemon chicken fettuccine. What's nice is they use fresh herbs here so there was freshly sliced basil on my pasta with lots of cheese and chicken chunks. The portion is nice and big but not too big. Quite nice. It would be even more awesome if they made their own homemade pasta from scratch. Tasted pretty good otherwise.
