Autostrada Osteria has been on my list of restaurants to try for quite a while. I was pleased with my experience overall. It's a small, quaint, and authentic Italian restaurant that focuses mainly on pasta. I was surprised to see how limited the menu was in terms of variety, but I did very much enjoy the pasta. We ordered Burrata and Prosciutto as a starter - the burrata itself was exceptionally fresh. I do wish they would serve a full burrata as opposed to a half, especially at $30+ for the dish. Half chicken dish was elegant and tasty. The Cacio e Pepe was traditional and met expectations but didn't stand out as much as I thought. The Fusilloni con Salsiccia was prepared very well and was my favorite dish of the night. Service was great - our server was attentive and friendly. No issues there. I'd certainly go back to Autostrada again and would encourage those who haven't been to check it off the list of pasta bars in Vancouver!

Saturday dinner to celebrate a birthday and decided to try Autostrada Osteria on Main Street, just 5 mins away. We did make reservations and it was busy upon checking in at our time. They did apologize as we had to wait for a table to finish up and settle their bill. We waited outside for another 15 mins. I did notice the staff did sanitize our table and seats which I greatly appreciate it! Ok. Maling get to the food! - duck liver with crostini and house preserves. OMG it's so smooth and delicious bite. - focaccia baked daily super fluffy and fresh. - halibut al cartoccio was so flavourful paired with beans and very tender. It's the priciest dish on the menu but I thoroughly enjoyed it within my dietary needs. - bucatini cacio e Pepe is simple yet filling with a punch of pepper. - fusilloni con salsiccia with fennel sausage, peas and pecorino is a hearty dish. - garganelli con agnello is also a hearty dish with lots of braised lamb ragu. So much a growing 13 year old couldn't finish the lamb. The service was outstanding and food was delicious?

Portions are extremely small compared to the price, and the variety of dishes is very limited. Food tasted good! Location was well decorated.

I've been wanting to try out Autostrada for a while, and I'm so glad we did. Truly amazing service and the food was sublime. Hard to find pasta that's this perfectly made outside of Bologna or by someone's Italian granny. Really tasty daily specials that are worth sampling. It seems like a lot of thought goes into the dish preparation, so you're presented with lovely plates that are wonderfully tasty. Great wine and drink selection as well, the tiramisu was divine, and the whipped cream on the torta caprese was wonderfully decadent and the perfect topper for this dessert. And thanks so much for stocking decaf espresso! Cheers, can't wait to stop by again.

Visited here a week or so ago and had a great time. Our server was very helpful with explaining all the dishes were having and providing recommendations. For appies we had the duck liver, tuna crudo and vitello tonnato (shaved veal). Favorite was probably the duck liver with the crostini. The crostini was crispy and light browned which went great with the duck liver. The veal was very good as well with very tender veal and sauce. Don't remember the name of the mains we ordered but, we basically all had pasta. I had a tortellini style stuffed pasta. Lots of cheese flavor and some veal I believe. This place is a little bit on the expensive side and portions was not that big. Still a good experience and worth a visit. Really loved the duck liver appetizer.

Came here to celebrate the hubby's birthday and everything from food to service was top notch. The pasta was perfectly cooked and I even scraped the bottom of the plate because it was THAT tasty! Apart from food, I thoroughly enjoyed the limoncello spritz and my hubby regretted not getting that as well. The only complaint I have is that the portion sizes are very small and even after 2 drinks, 2 pastas and 1 appetizer, we still left feeling slightly hungry.

Have wanted to come here for so long and finally did! The food in general was good. We got gluten free pasta, chicken, and 2 desserts. I was a tiny bit disappointed because after reading other reviews I thought they would have better gluten free options for bread and pasta but no they didnโ€™t have gluten free bread. The gluten free option for pasta is not the right kind of pasta for the dishes but they were still good. The prosciutto appertizer is a must order, for the price is a bit expensive but the cheese was amazing. The chicken I really like, but maybe the waitress oversell it a little bit as It wasnโ€™t mind blowing as she described. Still enjoyed it. Desserts were kind of okay. By this point I was full out of my mind. The whole meal was good! But I wouldnโ€™t come back. Thank you for the meal
