S	Student on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn't mind paying almost 20,000$ if the staff were actually good and did their jobs properly. All of the good teachers left from how much they hated the rest of the staff. Which goes to show that it isn't just the students who feel this way. They give you almost no resources in order to succeed and only care about the money that is it. The owner is rude and money hungry and doesn't care about the rest of the employees or students. Also from the course being so so condensed, you leave not feeling fully prepared for your career. It just is not worth it. Maybe it would be worth it if they actually took the time to really help you. My advice is take the extra couple months at cdi or go to nait/or an actual university for 2 years. At least that way it will actually be worth your hard work and money. Also during covid they didnt even offer anything online, they just closed the whole program down for 3 months and left all of the students confused and angry. Every other school offered online classes except them because they are so cheap.

I left the school not knowing any skills as they do not prepare you enough, and they could care less about their students success. This school is a scam and just want your money. I highly suggest to go to Nait. Although its 2 years, you'll feel more confident with your skills and have access to more resources and is way cheeper.
S	Student anonymous on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ KDM is terrible, the whole system is set up very poorly, the instructors in clinical are very rude and expect you to know everything new they just taught without any mistakes within an hour of practice. One of the instructors will confront you or say rude remarks without considering how uncomfortable it makes you feel, this place is sickening do not give them your 20 thousand dollars DO NOT DO NOT!!! The instructors do not accommodate the students the way we should be accommodated. For such a condensed program students should at the very least get print outs of the procedure notes that are to be practiced in clinical. I wonder where all this 20 thousand goes for no print outs, no practice tools or time, rude instructors and an owner who doesn’t know how to run a business. DONT WASTE YOUR MOENY PLEASE

The head instructor in clinical is also very very rude , a rude teacher makes your experience awful. The instructors always told different rules from one another and would change up rules and procedure steps constantly, on a daily basis things would change. The instructors also grade you very differently from one another during clinical evaluations, one instructor would be ok with one thing and pass a student, but the other wouldn’t and would fail a student. It’s a joke.

The instructors are rude, not helpful, change things on the spot & don't give proper feedback. They are more worried about money rather than watching students succeed. It is a lot of money to go here, and we were not given the proper time, or resources to be able to practice. There was a massive lack of communication and no proper guidelines for teaching. It seems they just do what they want, the clinical evaluations was the instructors preference on how they grade you. I left there feeling not prepared as I should have been paying this kind of money. Finding out when you to get a job they were concerned about kdm students because they are not as well trained as other dental assistant students
E	Eugenia Yakimovich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before applying, I read all reviews about KDM College, was extremely scared but this course duration won. I needed to combine work and school so I wouldn't be able to survive long if I went to NAIT. We had an incredible teacher Donna in theory. This period is the most difficult as you have to learn in 3 months what NAIT students would do in a year ( same book by the way). Donna has a huge experience in theory and clinical. Thus she always has answers for you. She`s an inspiring and caring person. Whenever you need help, she's there with support, always ready to explain and reassure!!! Don't be upset about the teacher if you don't ask questions and don't study 24/7 and then get frustrated and disappointed. This is your decision to choose a short class and you need to focus on studying during these 3 months, otherwise, you won't be able to keep up for sure! ( main advice) During clinical, we had 2 instructors Lisa and Melissa. I'm smiling while writing about them. They are very encouraging, knowledgeable, and friendly! They will guide you all the way and explain even silly things that we asked, paying attention to our concerns and fears. Thus I'm glad that I decided to go to KDM. They are professionals! And if you want to become a professional in this field, listen to the teachers, study constantly, and always stay positive!
