★ ★ ★ ★ ★ None of the charm of working for a small business with all the stress that comes with it. Massive turnover rate due to a specific Manager which Management refuses to address. Most individuals don't last 3 months regardless of how competent they are or how much they do. A shame because that one bad apple ruins the bunch to such an extent that the office environment is dictated by that specific Manager's mood on a given day. Expect most things to be left until last minute.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They’re doing the driving back to work grant. I applied, I’m approved. They put me into a driving school. I do about 2 weeks worth of training for someone to call me and say there was something overlooked on my application. Because I’m receiving compassionate care giver ei I’m not eligible for the grant for the courses I’ve already been taking for 2 weeks. It’s only a 3 page application, so something that could take my funding away should have definitely been found way before I was “approved” or started training.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I applied for Alberta’s Drive Back to Work program. I was told it would take 10-15 business days for Ballad Group to process my application. 4 weeks later they didn’t even call me or send me a letter to let me know if I was approved. I called them and they told me I was approved, but stuck in a long cue of applicants. I did some research and found out that I was stuck in a long cue because evidently they weren’t processing applications and almost no one was being put into training through them. In fact, so few people were being put through driver training schools that their courses were on sale and their classrooms were almost empty! In the end they held me in this cue indefinitely until the program expired.
