Kalsamrit Martial Arts

We are so fortunate to have found an amazing summer program for kids at Kalsamrit in Bowmanville. I have been enormously impressed with the enthusiasm and positive energy Kalsamrit staff puts into their efforts with my son. I have peace of mind knowing that my son is well cared for and getting a fun and healthy experience in their hands. Their day is full of fun, stimulating activities and tons of amazing friendships and memories. It is great to know in an age of tablets in technology that my son is reaping the benefits of a physically active and mentally engaging program that promotes wellness and personal growth. I would highly recommend this summer camp program to anyone with kids aged 5-12!

We signed our son up as he wanted to try it, before we knew the whole family were regulars. They are great with the kids plenty of coaches to help everyone so no one is left behind. We have done personal training for my wife myself and our son.

My family of 5 have been going to Kalsamrit for the last 6 years. The improvement in my families strength and all around health have improved immensely. Especially the discipline, confidence and leadership qualities in my 3 kids ages 10, 8 and 5. Go check them out, this has been the best decision ever!

I joined Kalsamrit Port Perry two months ago in order to get back in shape after being a stay at home mom. I signed up for their Adult Muay Thai, Boxing, and fitness classes and have already noticed a difference in my endurance, skills, and overall health. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and really a fun experience overall. The community is very welcoming. I'm so thankful that I joined!

My son attends Kalsamrit’s kids classes, the coaches are top notch, knowledgeable and keep the kids highly engaged. My son looks forward to his classes and looks up to his coaches. The facility is impeccably clean and all the staff are helpful and kind. The community has a family atmosphere and everyone is very welcoming. There is a program for everyone and every skill level. This gym is a gem!

My family and myself have been members of Kalsamrit for over two years now. The staff and coaches continue to show their passion for the art with each and every class we attend. They kept us sane and active throughout the pandemic closures by offering online classes. They make everyone at every skill level feel welcome and right at home. They are extremely professional, clean and well maintained at all times. Discovering this gym has been an absolute blessing and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn the art or stay active. Thank you Kalsamrit for all that you do and continue to do!

Great experience at Kalsamrit! Highly recommend this gym. Staff and the Owner are friendly and great to deal with. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. When I drop my child off I know he’s in good hands. My child often talks about the coaches, they all sound like they are very encouraging to the kids. Thank you to the staff, coaches and the owner Brendan for your training, encouragement, and dedication to these little people.

?THE BEST PLACE TO BOOK KIDS PARTIES FOR ALL AGES!!! They go above and beyond… First, we’d like Kalsamrit to know how fortunate we feel to be part of the Kalsamrit Family, and we just want to thank Brendan, Heather, Vanessa, Matt, Mackenzie, Kara, and Team from the very bottom of our hearts for organizing and running such an AMAZING 7th birthday party for our little guy and his buddies on Sunday the 10th ? It sincerely meant more to him and to us than you know… He is STILL raving about how it was “the best” party he has ever been to, and it just happened to be HIS birthday party!!! We felt the same way… In fact, he’s already asked to have his 8th birthday party there next year! It was also just such an unexpected, but very much appreciated surprise to walk in and see that we really didn’t need to worry about a single thing. The detail in the decorations, balloons, plates, cutlery and tables were all set up so nicely and the timing of games very well planned… There was so much care put in to organizing it. We’ve never experienced that kind of care for our kids’ parties anywhere else, and you guys just set the bar soooo high. The other parents and kids who attended kept saying they didn’t want to leave and that we all had so much fun too playing the games (we even had coaches/parents versus kids dodgeball!!). The kids loved the big glove ring fights and laughed at Melissa and I duking it out in the ring - just hilarious! ? All were so very impressed with how you guys ran the activities, games, and everything in between. My son couldn’t believe he and his friends broke boards (thank you for finding those!!) and being able to take their boards home as an added souvenir from the party to show off to family and at pick-up… Our little guy was in awe of being able to cut his cake with a “real Samurai sword” that he later got to take home to “keep and pass down to (his) own kids and family forever!” LOLOL!! It was all so very special to him and to us ? Again, thank you so much for helping us to make such a memorable 7th birthday for our Favourite Little Man ? We very, very highly recommend your martial arts gym for birthday parties to celebrate kids of all ages… and also for the hardcore fitness, physical and mental health! ?
