The best sushi in Vancouver in my opinion. Been going there regularly for it's got to be close to 20 years or so now and we still love it. The ingredients used are of high quality and it really comes out in the flavours of the dishes. Kaide's house special marinated tuna is absolutely delicious and their homemade tomago is the best I've ever tasted and I've been to Japan! The small family-run establishment is very welcoming and we look forward to our weekly visits!

We went there because of some great reviews on their site. Sadly, our experience was anything but. The rolls were, in general, VERY average. However the avocado on the avocado role was hard, not ripe and it tasted terrible. The miso soup was Luke warm (at best) and too salty. When presented with the charge machine for a credit card payment (this for a take our order, not eat in) there were only 4 tip options from 15% up and there was no option for no tip. Very tacky! The location is very dated and not attractive. This is a place that I certainly do NOT recommend.

Been coming here for years. Their sashimi is always fresh, with nice seasonal offerings. The sushi are made with fresh seasonal offerings as well. Beer is served with an ice chilled glass, which is nice. The owner and chef is very nice and friendly, as are the staff. It's not a high end place, but the quality of their food is comparable to more pricey places in town. Definitely worth a visit.

If you are after authentic Japanese food this is the place. Its a short menu, but the quality food and price are excellent. I gave 4 stars because the decor is missing.

What an experience. The assorted chef's special sushi platter for the most amazing sushi I've had. It had different kinds from tuna, salmon, blue fin, butterfish, bbq eel, scallops, tobiko. It was beautiful. Thanks for the amazing evening guys.

Another great find in the city. Stumbled upon this location and was pleasantly surprised. Great staff, great food, great value. Ordered the omakase set and an extra shrimp to satisfy the craving. Fresh fish, tasty rice, and great portion. Super delicious. Must try.

Yum Here’s a great little sushi spot with a simplified menu. Sushi was fresh and a few rolls to try Big Bang ( tuna , avocado lemon slice snd crunch) the lemon gives it a refreshing zing and for those who like veggie sushi their Kaide Garden is elegant and tasty. This sushi spot is great for those who live in Vancouver and travel from the north shore (Whistler) it’s an easy stop making it a great option for pick up on ski days. Enjoy
