D	Duane Cook on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought them a starter for my Subaru, when I picked it up he told me it was good as new, and I paid $186.45 with taxes. I then installed the starter and noticed the engine was making a god awful rattling sound. I then had to have the car towed to Master Mechanic who found that the starter that I just picked up from K&P was not rebuilt properly. The gear was not retracting after starting the engine and remaining engaged which was the source of the rattling sound. I went back to K&P and asked for a refund of $186.45 since I had to pay Master Mechanic $270 and he refused. I would not recommend K&P to anyone as they are clearly incompetent. I wish there was an option for zero stars!
P	Paul Fowler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The charging light came on in my truck, but I wasn't really sure if I needed a new alternator or not, as I noticed that one of the batteries was physically damaged. I decided to take it K&P. They came out in the parking lot and diagnosed it right there. I needed both the battery and the alternator. We noticed that the wiring to the alternator was missing insulation and the connectors weren't oriented in the correct direction. They fixed all or that, and it looks completely factory now. You could go to an auto parts store and work with whatever you got, right or wrong, or go here and get the job done as it is supposed to be done.

Nick recently rebuilt the motor, and yesterday I had it reinstalled by my marina mechanics. I tested it and let me tell you it is back to factory specs. Nick really knows his trade.
