I never have problems with Just Eat. The fact that people down rate this service because of late delivery, or cold food, it's NOT just eat, its the restaurants. The service itself is great and so convenient you can browse what you want, and when I have company over, its one site if people want different things. I honestly, use it a few times a week generally, for work etc. and NEVER have a problem. The support chat is always helpful, and answer any general questions as well. I will continue to use Just Eat... I only wish more restaurants in my area would use it... I think all delivery services should use this. Always a great experience!

Been using the app for over a year, I love the fact I can just punch in the postal code of anywhere in the city I am and get a range of cuisines that can be delivered to the door. Have never had an issue with delivery times, the drivers are always pleasant and polite. Only time I've ever had any problems is with the restaurants themselves not filling the order correctly, Just Eat aren't responsible for the actual order, the restaurant is. Even better I have teens at home so if held up at work I just tell them to go online, order dinner and even tip the driver.....don't have to worry about having cash! Continued success, I'm a customer for life❀️

New to just eats and been disappointed too many times. Just spoke to the manager regarding all the delivery mistakes since I started ordering through them and she was not very helpful. Chat was useless as well. Nothing gets resolved. If your order is less than 50 they will credit your account if it's over 50 they will send money back to your bank which takes 3 to 5 business days. Their is no option. At least offer free delivery on the next order or something...poor customer service. 0/5

I am not using Just Eat anymore, after being a customer for years. For the third time in a row, the food we've ordered has not been accepted by the restaurant. The last time it happened, the company didn't call until 30 minutes later to inform me our dinner would not be coming. The girl representing Just Eat was rude and unapologetic about the incident, and basically placed the blame on the restaurant. While the restaurant should have taken themselves offline, perhaps a quicker response and some customer service would be nice. I'm done with them, deleting my account and going with uber eats from now on, Just Eat has completely lost any touch it had.

Ordered food on Sunday, received a confirmation email from the restaurant that it would be delivered in 50 minutes. Waited a hour and forty minutes, we contacted JustEat who contacted the restaurant and we were informed they never received our order, even though we received a confirmation email. They would not refund us or discount anything and still deliver the food. We had to cancel our order completely as they still did not have an expected delivery time and received nothing after waiting all that time. If we did not contact them ourselves we would have never been notified that nothing was ever coming. Will not use their service again.

Terrible experience Ordered food, with an hour delivery time. Sounds fine, but when 1.5 hours rolls past I contact the company, was told the driver may have just left the food on the doorstep and to check there. First, who the hell would leave food on a doorstop, in winter. Secondly, I live in an apartment. So she calls the driver, finds out he still has the food and will return within 10 min. Fine, I can deal with that. No talk about dealing with the situation, discount, or anything to make the consumer happy, and ends the call mid conversation... So i wait another half hour, and contact them again, and the new one tells me that They never received a re-send order for the food,that you wont be eating from us tonight, and well refund your money. Even that would be fine but its been a week and I'm still waiting for them to give me a refund. Will defiantly be contacting the BBB for this place, Don't bother dealing with these amateurs, just go and cook for yourself, its less hassle, no matter how lazy you may be.

I received horrible customer service as described below and would recommend using their website to look up menus and then order food directly from the restaurant. This is better for you and the restaurant because the website doesn't take a cut and the restaurant sometimes passes this on by offering lower prices if you don't go through the website. If the restaurant doesn't immediately pass on the savings it still helps them keep costs down in general. Note that delivery may not be available if you call restaurants directly but other services like Uber Eats can help you avoid Just Eat. Also, if you do some research you will see that Just Eat removes bad reviews at the request of restaurant owners and this completely defeats the purpose of the review system. 2 out of the 3 orders I have made had some issue with the website and the company is essentially a website. The first time the earliest deliver by time was listed as 90 minutes, but the drop down box only gave me times that were the next day even though it was around 5pm. I called the restaurant and they agreed to ignore the delivery time the website sent them. The second time I couldn't find where to use a coupon and based on a prompt on the previous window I thought the coupon entry box was on the next page. It wasn't and when I notified them within 15 minutes of the error they said they were unable to help and, "Better luck next time" (Thanks Daniel). That exchange was via email because they aren't very helpful and don't post their phone number directly on their website (I was later told you can Google it). When I followed up via phone I again received the better luck next time corporate message, and I was further informed that they couldn't refund the value of the coupon because the coupon isn't actually money that I had paid, therefore it couldn't be refunded. Very frustrating.

We actually had a great experience with Just Eat... We are visiting the Richmond Hill area outside Toronto and the temps were sub-zero last night. We were tired and didn't feel like going out, so we looked up delivery options. We ordered through Just Eat, despite seeing quite a few negative reviews. It seemed that a lot of the reviews mentioned late deliveries, and we were willing to get a late delivery, so we went for it. To our surprise, everything worked flawlessly. Ordering was easy. Communication about our order's delivery was great - they both texted and called via the hotel # we'd provided. They arrived at the time they let us know - which was almost 45 minutes FASTER than we were told to expect our order. (We'd requested asap delivery/no specific time preference.) Food was fresh and good. We were happy customers!
