★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trained for some 10-15 years with Master Kim, absolutely a brilliant idea. Left a while ago though because life was getting more hectic, and I miss it a whole lot. Got my second degree black belt here.
Absolutely the best martial arts school around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 2 children absolutely love coming here! They are taught life skills such as respecting parents, the need for compassion and hard work, etc. They have become physically in better shape. My daughter had a slight weight issue and with a proper diet, she has become so much more confident about her own self-image! Thank you Master Kim for your sincerity and knowledge! The best taekwondo school in Surrey/Delta; bar none!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After I joined Jong Kim Martial Arts, it wasn't only my physical skills that improved, but my perspective of viewing things changed. I became a stronger person. Jong kim does not teach you only how to punch and kick, but how to become a better person. Jong kim has a very friendly environment, and everyone there is now like a family to me. I met amazing people there who care for me, and give great advices. They are not just people who go to the same martial arts school to me, but my friends. Master Kim has passion for his students, and always trues to give the best of his advices and knowledge to help the students. I felt that Jong Kim is different from any other martial arts schools in surrey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Something very close to my heart and forever will be, is martial arts. This is an art of discipline or some may call it a sport too, that I started at the age of 9 or 10. Fast forward 30 years later, I’m a strong believer of the fundamental tools that were provided at a young age. These tools and life long skills have, are and will continue to play a key role in who I am and continue to be.
Each belt testing, each outcome that life has brought I can truly say is a reflection of “the art of discipline” has taught me. Obtaining the black belt status is rewarding and liberating but the journey that leads to it, is forever changing.
There are a lot of things I support and promote, martial arts isn’t just a sport, it’s a mental discipline that you are investing in. Jong Kim Martial Arts School, is a must if you are thinking about sending your children or even trying as an adult.
Never give up, fall and get back up and it’s never to late to finish something that you start or start something new.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I began my training with Master Kim, 20 years ago. His teachings are a way of life! Although I had left in the middle of my accelerated training (6 Days a week) for several years, I recall numerous moments when I applied his discipline and philosophy that helped me along my journey to become the man I am today. My advice to his future students; Listen carefully and learn thoroughly to the lessons being taught! They are meant to prepare you for your better future! He is a great guide, let him be yours!
20 years later, I am still learning lessons from Master Kim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I doubt Master Kim will remember me. It's been well over 15 years since I left as a young pupil. He is the most genuine person I've ever met to this day and I owe a great deal to him for helping to make me who I am today. At the time, my parents were going through a pretty nasty divorce and Master Kim offered my sister and I a safe space and an outlet for our emotions. He supported us and helped us gain confidence in ourselves. I'll forever be grateful to the lessons he taught us in hard-work, dedication, and kindness.
