RUDE customer service. This company export internationally and they DONT have customer reps that speaks other languages other than English? SMH. I asked a simple question asking if they do, a lady answering the phone giggled, as if it was weird for someone to ask such question. What a lack of professionalism. Is this a how they represent this company?

Sean in the Toronto office was very helpful and the order was perfect! They made ordering what I thought would be impossible fairly simple. And the quality is great.

Highly recommend you visit Johnston Industrial Plastics LTD. I just recently opened another detailing location and had to get some custom acrylic pieces cut out. The team members displayed professionalism, were accurate with timeline and helpful I didn't have to touch my order it was loaded in my vehicle for me! After picking up the material I had a few contractors do some work at my shop and over the weekend, one of the contractors accidentally dropped one of the acrylic pieces and cracked a piece from the side. I called Johnston Industrial Plastics on Monday and instead of hearing the "Unfortunately you will need to buy another piece" line I was given an option to come back to their shop and have the cracked part of the piece cut out. Today, I went to their shop I was welcomed in, I again had the assistance of a team member who helped me unload the item from my vehicle and the piece was cut and re packaged all for FREE! These guys really value customer service I strongly recommend Johnston Industrial Plastics LTD. I am confident to say I will be shopping here again.

I got a laugh at reading a review done for this place 4 years ago about rude customer service. I have just been here today and all I can say is that things must have definitely changed as far as I can tell you by today's visit or maybe it's just been my lucky day today. I have revisited an old audio project of mine that needed some Acrylic for my audio rack' and I decided to go with this material due to the weight factor in comparison to glass. So Acrylic was the best choice in plastics for the least amount of scratch or scuffing based on the material's properties in comparison to other plastics is what I been told. The fellow of whom assisted me today is in my opinion very knowledgeable about what they sell and understood exactly what I needed. I made the choice of going with a partially smoked glass finish look as to plain old clear. The smoke adds a nice touch in my opinion but not too much of it, somewhere in between the two extremes. He put his cell phone in behind the few samples of acrylic to show the amount of shading of my few selected pieces. I went with the Light Grey which was perfect for me. I came there around mid afternoon on a Friday which was not the best timing for having my plastic sheets custom cut to sizes that I was looking for, but they made the exception to cut them all for me the same day while I was there. I am very thankful for this because it saved me a lot of time not having to take out my router and straight edge to do it myself. The good looking fellow in the back made me laugh when he said "This will cost you extra now" as he installed a brand new Fine Tooth carbide blade on the machine to cut my thin sheets. The cuts were perfectly straight and with a very impressive edge right off the saw blade alone without any added polishing. My thanks to his kindness to helping out in towards his break time and also for the exact and accurate cutting of the material that read bang on with my own trusted measuring tape. He knew exactly what cutting angle depth to set the saw blade and also setting the best possible feed rate to not only get the best edge, but to avoid any unwanted chatter or chipping of the material as it was being cut. They know all this stuff for a reason, it's their specialty. I have also come to learning this as well the hard way in the past and come to appreciate it when I see people working for a company that understand the finer details of the job to the next level of expertise in quality and perfection on their part. My thanks to the sales rep for taking his time to helping me out with my custom project needs. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs plastic material for their own custom projects. The staff were all courteous and friendly to me upon my visit there today. I look forward to getting more specialized plastic for some of my custom projects in the future. I enjoyed my trip here today and felt treated well beyond fair.

Hi there, I only needed one sheet of plexiglass, about 5×4×1/8. Shawn the salesman performed a class act. He was very cooperative and knowledgeable. I will refer and use these guys again.

The staff (cutting guys) went above and beyond to attend me on an emergency, by beeing able to cut a large sheet of acrylic to the size I need it on the spot.
