S	S. O. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delivered steaming hot, take out containers literally stuffed full, veggies super fresh and still crisp. Best Chinese I've had in a long time and I used to work at Singapore Sam's!
W	Will Schmidt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been eating here for years and the service and food was amazing, some of the food is still quite amazing but we ordered deep fried won tons tonight for $11, we got won ton wraps with nothing in them, a won ton is a dumpling not a fried piece of dough with nothing in it. When we called we were told "that's how we do it", it's like buying a hot dog and just getting the bun and some ketchup. And for that price. The won tons in the soup have filling so they are not consistent and I feel a bit cheated after deciding to order directly from them and help support the little guys. The other dishes were good but buyer beware and don't order the won tons unless your looking for expensive chips

There is always a sign on the hallway saying "Washroom is out of Order" even though its not. I asked the staff why its out of order and their reply is they don't was any food courrier to used it but for customer's its ok.

Hot & sour soup also very tasty - not too sour like some other places make it. Their deep fried wontons are delicious and are exactly like how they serve them in Hong Kong.

There was enough food for at least 6 or 7 people and I was only feeding 3. I was very impressed with the freshness and overall quality. I'll definitely order again. from John Wong's again.

I ended up feeding most of my meal to my dog unfortunately. I spent $105+ and all dishes were lacking flavour, like are you tasting the food you are providing? I would describe this restaurant as the “no name” of all Chinese food restaurants (e.g- Superstore sells “no name” products for cheaper price. Although, if u like something enough your better off sticking to the “name brand” Very bland flavour, too much oil. Don’t waste your $$$ like I did.

I was very impressed with the food and the ample portions leaving me with enough leftovers for my work lunch the next day. The ginger beef had just the right crisp and amount of sauce, sweet and sour pork was great, the fried rice is really good and they give you a lot! The wonton soup is hearty and the wontons are big with lots of meat. The ladies that took my order were always friendly and cheerful. Great customer service! This was my third time ordering from John Wong's in the last few months and it definitely won't be my last!
B	Ben on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was better than expected! I generally don't order from neighbourhood Chinese restaurants and prefer to venture downtown. I was surprised with how good this was. The vegetables were fresh and cooked nicely. Rice was great and flavourful. Ginger beef was crispy and delicious. The ginger beef at the bottom of the container was also crispy because the container wasn't filled with sauce which was also great to see. The price was also good considering the portions you receive. Definitely satisfied with John Wong and his cooking.
