★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't send used gear to get repaired because unless you can restore your USED gear to like NEW condition they will send it back to clean. They sent my bag back twice both times I cleaned it as best I could in the bathtub but I use this bag a lot and it has stains on it that can't be removed. I don't know how to get it any cleaner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grace has done excellent work for me before (rain, winter jackets). This Summer, I needed a pair of motorcycle pants shortened & thought of Cyrex Repairs. Once again, Grace did excellent work on what was a tricky alteration-she had to maintain hem pleats & knee pad placements. The pants fit perfectly (& the price was reasonable).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable. I heard so many great things about Cyrex. I took two pair of new hiking pants to be altered, take some of the bagginess out. Instead of sliming the legs using inside and outside factory seems, they decided to take the material out of the back of the leg and make an ugly seem down the back of the leg. Not only that, they couldn't even put the new seam down the centre line of the pants. Also, on one of the pairs of pants there was a factory elastic draw cord to cinch the cuff. My receipt clearly shows that this was to be retained. They forgot to put it back in and don't have the parts, they were discarded. $400 worth or pants destroyed. And paid them $150 on top of that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just wanted to get my duvet cover fixed. Came to Cyrex and they were closed for holidays, they did not update the website. Came a second time a week later same thing. Finally on the third try I got in and dropped the cover off. Came to pick up says to see a note on the door “will be back in 20 mins”. Have been outside now for 40 mins waiting and now the shop is about to close. Very unprofessional of not notifying people of when the shop is opened and closed. Very disappointed that this has now happened multiple times

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had these folks do repairs on a ski jacket as well as ski pants. They explained the "expensive" way to repair and the "cheaper" way to repair and pointed out the advantages and disadvantages to each. They seem to get a bit too busy at times which can stretch out their completion time a bit. Otherwise the work was very well done and I am happy with the service.
