★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the atmosphere here. This is not for yuppies, this is for real people. I love the Portuguese seniors hanging out and speaking Portuguese in the background, I love how casual everything is here. There's all this cool decor and the place is pretty big. Very authentic. I'd put it right up there with Cafe Calabria, but this one is even more earthy. They have a lot of types of coffee, even some rare drinks. It's the bomb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have known Joe for 30 years+ this place holds a lot of memories for many people. Joe's is a Vancouver iconic spot, I'm sad to see Joe's aging state. When he passes Vancouver will lose a great person, no one will fill his shoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joe's has been my go-to coffee place since my early twenties... Super friendly, the coffee is amazing ...great place to make friends, meet up with friends and hang out watch a game! They serve food, adult drinks, there's pool etc...come hang out!!
