Mike has been a Journeyman mechanic since 2006, however, he has been working on automobiles since he took apart his first engine at the age of 13. He worked as a mechanic for Honda for 7 years before joining the Canadian Armed Forces. He won the ASET Silver Jubilee Award in 2013 for his work as an AVN tech in the CAF.
Andrew is a journeyman mechanic with 11 years experience in the automotive industry, 10 of which he spent as a mechanic for Chryler.

I have stopped for advice and have even recommended me to other places as I would save a bit more money. I love the Idea that they have AMA and that they give Police, RCMP and military a discount. I always recommend them

β β β β β I took my car into JM to get my door handle fixed. After they took apart my car door to fix the handle, a new issue was created. I am now able to use my handle, but unable to lock or unlock my door using the interior door switch. I now can only lock and unlock my car door using the key fob. They looked at it and said that this was only a coincidence and took no responsibility and offered no support. $250 later I walked out of this shop with more problems than I came in with. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend coming here.

β β β β β Overcharged and inadequate work. I drive a 2011 Rav 4. The water pump went I called here and other places. I was quoted $154 for the water pump. When I picked it up the total was more than quoted. I saw that the charge for the pump was $240.72 before taxes.. I called to inquire why the pump was so much more. He said I don't know why I would have told you that. I said I called other places before you and you were already $15 higher. He said I can show you the receipt, I get my stuff from Napa because I have less trouble with returns. I said so you are telling me they charge more than $100 more than everwhere else I called?. No explanation so I called Napa and was told it is $180. I would assume as a business they would get it cheaper than me. When I drove my vehicle it also had a vapour lock. We had to add about a litre of antifreeze because we could see none. I gave them a chance to say we made a mistake. I hope the extra charge is worth the lost business.

Their prices are more than reasonable, their customer service is excellent, and they are very accommodating with respect to your schedule and availablity. My friend and I had three cars between us fixed within 48 hours, including the time they needed to get the parts. So awesome, go to these guys.

β β β β β I've come to JM twice now for brakes, oil and a small fix for my skid plate which was hanging down. Super nice guys, i have only had good experiences talking to them.
I was told by other mechanics in town that I needed all 4 of my rotors and brake pads changed, and after bringing it in to JM they called and told me my current brakes looked fine/that I didn't need a change for a while. They didn't charge me for the brake job and gave me my parts back (although i still had the oil change). The fact that they easily could have charged me for the job but didn't made me so grateful. Will definitely be returning to this place for future jobs!
