I had a ticking noise in my engine so I brought my car in. The long and short of it was my year and make of car was faulty and I needed a new engine. Bernie's went a step behind and called the dealership on my behalf. In the end, the dealership told him they knew about this common problem and although my car was no longer under warranty they had a campaign running to fix the issue, all I had to do was contact them myself. I'm picking up my car from the dealership this weekend with a brand new engine, free of charge. Bernie's Diesel could have easily cashed in on this opportunity, charging me for a new engine. I would have never thought to call the dealership, I figure if it's no longer under warranty and there is no recall nothing can be done. I can't thank Bernie's enough, they saved me thousands of dollars and it is so, so appreciated.
