★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, these are the best fish and chips (well, at least the fish part) that I have ever had.
The breading tasted amazing and honestly I could eat it by itself, and somehow perfectly adheres to the fish, which was perfectly fried both times we went.
This place is worth the trip to Ucluelet from Vancouver alone.
The chips and coleslaw are nothing special, but you're here for the fish, and they serve as a fine accompaniment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We happened upon Jiggers' food truck our first afternoon exploring Ucluelet. We had supper ready back at our unit, but the line up was so long we were tempted to checked it out. My wife ordered the 2 piece fish and chips and I got the Tiger Prawn meal. Very quickly we were served and decided to eat right there so it would be hot. There was ample outdoor seating. My wife said she had never had such tender and flaky fish, and I enjoyed the prawns which came with coleslaw, fries and dipping sauce. It was delicious and seemed very fresh. I couldn't finish my fries, and my wife couldn't finish her fish as we were both completely full. Ucluelet is magical, and JIggers is one of the reasons for that. We would recommend a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While in Uclulet this was our first meal. We ordered Prawns and Fish.
The order was provided quickly without much wait. There was sitting outside besides the food truck. We saw few people coming for takeaways.
The taste was OK nothing too great about. The presentation was good but the taste was a bit bland and too oily for us, while the fries were fresh and the salad was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cod is fresh and the portions are HUGE. There isn't the option of other fish like halibut, but they do have prawns. A heads up that the batter is more on the plain side and definitely requires some seasoning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HUGE portions of fish and chips,which explains the rather high prices. There was a bit of a wait but it was very busy and the staff was quite friendly. Recommend the 1-piece unless you are starving. We both got the two piece each and could have definitely shared one. Tasty batter but overall quite greasy. Despite that fish was tender and flavorful. Fries were perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious fresh fish and chips. They only have outdoor tables for now *October 2021. They only accept e-transfer or cash. The fish batter was really good. Super light and not greasy. The fries were good. Add your own salt. They don't salt it for you.
