★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took Jerry up on his free chip repair for my windshield..... That was a HUGE mistake. I repeatedly had a hard time meeting up with him because every time he said he would be there he would not. He then assured me that his employee would be there either way and would do the chip repair that way. I go down there and sure enough Jerry isnt there and so I get help from the other guy who looks around for a while for the parts and then goes to my car and starts to work on it. I did not realize until he was already doing the job that he did not have the proper tools for the job because there was none left at the shop and Jerry had them but he was putting resin in the crack anyways.. Anyways he basically just put some glue on the surface and then shrugged and said maybe that would work. I called Jerry and he told me that is normal for them to do that. It is now two days later and the crack is now spreading, even though it had not done anything in the month since I had a rock hit my windshield. The work this guy did made it so that I basically cant get it fixed now because he sealed it so I cant get proper resin in it.
Jerry said that he would do all this for free if i spread the word of his business because thats free advertising... well Jerry here you go! My main point to Jerry is that his guys should communicate if they don't have the proper parts BEFORE touching someones car.. and Jerry himself needs to be there when he says he will.
