★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to move my daughter to Victoria to start her Nursing career in the middle of COVID. I had torn the trailer wiring harness off my 2017 Nissan Frontier. Knowing I had to use my utility trailer to move my baby girl on Easter Monday I got the harness rewired at the Nissan in Campbell River. On Easter Sunday when I hooked up nothing worked. My neighbours truck was able to get the trailer lights to work so I knew they hadn't done it right at the dealership. I replaced a blown fuse and poked around but could get nowhere. Jerry has done our non-warranty repairs for awhile so you could consider us regulars. He met us at the shop on a beautiful Easter Sunday afternoon and spent a couple of hours trying to sort out the dealers mess. As I write this the truck and trailer are packed and waiting for us to leave tomorrow morning. His prices are fair (cheap if you take into account how efficient he is), he honours his work and WOW does he take care of his customers. I would be giving him a lot more than 5 stars if they let me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After using Jerry's Auto Works for the 2nd time I would like to change my rating and give him a one star, Jerry gave me a quote for the work needed $4,873.39 which I signed for for the work to be done, when I went to collect the vehicle an extra charge of $528.39 was added to my bill without notifying me or requesting approval, he simply told me it took longer than he thought. The 3rd time I took my vehicle for an inspection report he gave me a quote for $108 but when I went to pick up the vehicle he gave me a bill for $167, I was not happy with this as this is the 2nd time he had done this. We chatted about it and he agreed that I should pay the agreed quote amount, saying this I will not use or recommend Jerry's Auto Works in the future. He is a very nice guy and a good mechanic but this is not the way to run a business. Finally I have noticed that when I drop by to make an appointment he would stop working on other customers vehicles to chat with me, so I am assuming that my work took longer because of customers dropping in to see him, I do not think I should or anyone else be paying for this.
