Lots of places to kayak to here in English Bay, with several beach stops along the way. Though because of the wind, sometimes you might be fighting against the current. Especially if you're heading west.

Whether you're looking for a pleasant and relaxed few hours on the water or to build your paddling skills, JBK is awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best places to go in Vancouver. Customer care was excellent. Very easy to book. All your valuables are stored safely and changing and bathroom facilities available. Instructors are great. They even push you off. Probably the most beautiful scenery in Vancouver to look at while on the water. Top tip, book early evening to see the sunset.

Really thankful to the 2 girls (unfortunately I did not catch their names) who helped us out especially with making my mom as comfortable and confident as she can as it was her first time paddling. They were both patient and friendly which made the experience more enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite places in all of Vancouver. Great for an after-work paddle, and their two weekly socials (women's paddle, friday paddle) are great ways to meet fellow kayakers and enjoy the water and some beautiful sunsets. Friendly staff who are very willing to help you improve your kayak skills and always happy to accommodate so you enjoy your time on the water. If you're lucky, you might see some seals while out :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time kayaking (anywhere) and I can't recommend Jericho Beach enough! The staff were super friendly and informative, they were helpful with any questions we had and reassured us as we were a but nervous for our first time. I booked a double kayak
as an activity for me and my boyfriend to do and we can't wait to go kayaking again. We paddled along Spanish banks and were able to catch a few glimpses of some local wildlife.
Definitely recommend!!
