We saw tons of birds, harbour seals, sea lions and even a few porpoises. Brent knows Howe sound really well and recommended a number of future trips around Bowen. Highly recommended!

They took the time to explain everything from how to put the lifejacket on, to how the pedals work on each of the kayaks. If you are on Bowen Island and have 2 to 3 hours to kill, this is a great way to do it.
E	Elizabeth Santamaria on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a 3 hour sunset ? tour last week (Aug 19/2021) and the owner, Brent was our tour guide. His shop was staffed with friendly, knowledgeable young people and the premises was clean, equipped and centrally located close to the ferry dock. My friend and I were beginners but opted to take single kayaks instead of a double and it was fine! Brent gave us all simple instructions and some handy tips and helped us at every step. Along our trip we learned about the surrounding areas, history and lore which made the experience all the more interesting. Gorgeous to explore Howe Sound from this perspective. I along with 6 other kayakers enjoyed our tour very much. I highly recommend!! The sunset at the end was EPIC!! Please see attached pictures. I ended up feeling nauseous towards the end of the tour and Brent very kindly and quickly helped me without it affecting the rest of the group too much. I felt very appreciative of his manner and encouragement throughout the tour, but especially when I started to not feel so well. If this is your first time, I would recommend making sure you are well hydrated prior to kayaking, and take some Gravol just in case. Cheers Brent, thanks again so much for a memorable sunset tour!!

Easy going staff, and great tips of where to explore in the nearby coastline. Hopefully you get to see the seal hanging out by the lighthouse just at the first peninsula from their launch dock. We went unguided, but along our journey, one of their guides with a group b-lined to us to let us know of the incoming light winds just to make sure we didn’t go too much farther (which would’ve made for a slightly more challenging paddle back). We did the 2 hour rental - the only thing we wish we had done was take more time to come ashore to one of the nearby beaches. Highly recommend kayaking with them when you’re on Bowen Island!

Felt like I’d been on a whole vacation after a 2 hour experience! 10/10 would recommend and come back to explore more! P.S - it rained a bit towards the end of the tour but kayaking keeps you warm so the rain is no obstacle:) wouldn’t hesitate to visit regardless of the weather

I am a Type 1 Diabetic and use an insulin pump, something you don't want to get wet. I presented this problem to the team and they handled it very well. To summarize: - The equipment was in very good condition - The staff very friendly and knowledgeable very accommodating of my health condition. - The location, Bowen Island is perfect - We went to the recommended areas and spotted wildlife - Pricing was very reasonable. We took the double Kayak. All this with good weather we had no excuse but to give this experience five stars and highly recommend this to any and all.
