Jean Dorée beach is a great place to spend time with family or friends. The beach is clean and well equipped. Some watersports are also available at a cost. If you don t have a car, it s easily accessible from Jean Drapeau tube station, there is a free shuttle who will take you there.i'll defenely recommend that beach for a day trip during the summer. But come early to get a good spot?

Well organised. Went there around 3-4pm not crowded at all :) Nice depth. water is not the cleanest but good enough for me. I like that they have a lane swimming area. Big buoys not allowed. Easy access by bike:)

Nice clean beach. Lifeguards are real whistle blowers, which can be a bit much at times. We noticed them not allowing young children in with certain swimming aids which seemed ridiculous. Unlike Oka Beach which is my family fav you cannot go in the water with a floating device. I'm assuming it's because of how small it is. Still a great beach on a hot summer day. Highly recommend.

The water is very clean for a local beach! It's very big...loss of room to swim, sit, play or tan. Lots of sandy area for kids, along with playground. There is green space to sit and eat with shade, but not enough tables, so bring blankets for picnic. You can bring your own food, but no glass and no alcohol. Food and alcohol is sold there $$...bit expensive. Parking at the door $15(card only), or STM stops right at door as well. Aquazilla (Wipit bouncy obstacle course) is there on beach, cost $15/hour..my kids 8-13 loved it...I on the other hand almost "broke my legs"?I do not reccomend for unfit parents with unstable knees...it's harder than it looks from a distance. Paddle boats, kayak rentals are also available at hourly or 30min rates(nice to paddle right up to the Casino!!! Or watch kids on Wipit!) There's no music nor entertainment, but most brought their own speaker which was nice to hear! Life guards and staff are all extra kind. Ample washrooms, and hot showers. Play tubes or inflatable tubes are not allowed...I mean why?...it's a beach?...that was a very annoying. But safety floaters are permitted, and they lend life jackets for free with Id for all ages and sizes.there are swimming lanes, shallow and deep areas to swim. It was great for our whole family, and loved the local distance to home. It's a great day activity. Entrance fee can be booked online, but also payable on the spot. No refunds to weather, so best to pay the day of...just in case!

Perfect place to go with family and friends if you like to swim and play in the nature. The place is following security norms due to the covid-19. There was enough space so people wasn't very close, the bathroom always clean. I recomend.

Love this place. Very accessible by métro, this year you have to pay for the bus before going back to the metro, last years bus was free. Métro jean drapeau. Very safe for kids and little one. All kind of ppl, young , families, couples, etc. Smoke free, but some ppl still smoke on site, food available but quiet expensive for the quality, alcohol sold on site. We always enjoy going there. Love it ❤️❤️

This is a nice beach within the city. As a new norm, book your place online before going. Parking is $15 for unlimited hours. There are few picnic tables scattered under the shades. If you want to have a shades for you along the beach shores, I highly suggest that you bring your own beach umbrella. Changing rooms/bathrooms are clean. Lifeguards in the tower & lifeguards patrolling along the shores. Never felt crowded. You're allowed to bring food. Glass containers & alcohol are prohibited. There's a foodtruck on site. There's a playground & big inflatable water slide ($$) This beach is very accessible to public transport too, the bus stops infront of the entrance. The water is refreshing for cold humid days. Inflatable floating device are not allowed except for swimming life vest.
