We visited for the Leonard Cohen exhibition and it was excellent. The gallery rooms are a good large size and several were set up with projections and some small padded seats and with more floor seating on carpet. (Fold out seats were available for older and disabled visitors). The films that had been created for the exhibition were incredible and gave you a good feel for L.C.'s life. Touching and heart warming. We visited parts of the other exhibitions which were good for modern art - not necessarily to my artistic taste though.

We were a little annoyed because we paid full price but couldn't see the permanent exhibit. And some of the temporary modern art was just junk (sorry to be harsh - but it was bad). - I think it has an opportunity to improve with better exhibits and fair pricing (when half of museum is closed).

I had one of the best artistic experiences that I have had in recent memory here—A Lot of Sorrow, a collaboration with Ragnar Kjartansson and The National is mind blowing. I was utterly mesmerized. I wish I could have gone back every day. Lots of other interesting works to see too.

This was my favorite museum that I saw in Montreal. There were a lot of thought-provoking exhibits. You could spend a good part of the day there. I would definately return and recommend it to others. Lots of bathrooms throughout the museum as well which was very nice.

Nice and compact museum of modern art. I was really excited about kids play video performance at the temporary exposition.it was touching experience! I would like to visit another exposition at this museum. Lots of cafes and restaurants around this place.

This is not a large museum by any measure. I was expecting it to be bigger because of its location in the heart of the city's entertainment district. What it lacks in size, it makes up in originality, playfulness and quirkyness. The exhibits are visually striking, engaging and well displayed. Go there only if you are willing to play along and let yourself become temporarily part of the exhibits.

This museum only has one exhibit that takes about 10 minutes to go through. It’s not clear on the website or at the location that this is the case. We expected to be able to kill a couple hours here.

Terror Contagion currently available is deeply thought provoking and informative. There is such a lot to take in that it is only the tip of the iceberg. But a starting point to provoke a deeper awareness of what technology is capable of. I found the temporary location difficult to find for a visitor to Montreal. The front of house is most unwelcoming. The woman at the ticket office was abrupt and quite rude. On the other hand a young lady spent time with me to explain the content of the exhibition which I really appreciated. In winter the least that could be provided is a ' cloak room' as in a coat rack, to leave coats etc. Perhaps when I come back in a couple of years time MAC will be back in its home.
