He went up on the roof in below zero weather to assess it and then measured the inside unlike another company which did neither. He also spoke with the skylight manufacturer while we were talking and asked their advice regarding the proper sizing. Once the window was ordered and delivered to my home Joel set a date for its installation and showed up on time and got to work. He spent 3 hours removing the old and installing the new skylight and also repaired some other damage on the roof.I was impressed that there were only minutes between the time the old skylight was removed and the new one was in place.. Barely any heat was lost in that time which was greatly appreciated. Joel is very professional and also pleasant. I am very satisfied with the work and would highly recommend him. He delivered exactly what he promised and went beyond this. I would give him 5 stars.

I called a lot of companies and explained the issue with the sun deck. Only Joel called me back . I know it is a busy time for roofing companies and no one wants a smaller job. Joel was caring enough and knew I was concerned so even with a full schedule came by and fixed the sun deck. He also went and fixed some damaged shingles. Free of charge. He did this job on his lunch hour, because he did not want me to worry. I like to deal with people like this. I would highly recommend this company.

His prices were competitive and he was using the product that we wanted based on our research. Within 2 weeks of our quote we had our new roof installed. After doing a walk around with the installer, we noticed damage to our fascia and soffits on one peak of our roof. It was 5 p.m when we called Joel at J.D Roofing.
