We had new soffit, fascia and eavestroughs installed. Excellent work with high quality material and a fair price for both. The installers were friendly and responsive. They even came up with an ingenious solution to a drainage problem that I have had difficulty solving for a while. They took no short cuts and clearly took pride in the quality of their work. When they were done, they cleaned up completely so I didn't have to worry about nails or shards of anything on my driveway or lawn. Excellent experience and I would highly recommend them.

We hired this company for our new build home and commercial barn in 2017. The barn roof has had numerous leaks since that time with the most recent being in February of 2022. They were contacted and a warranty repair was requested on Feb 3, March 2 and again today, March 28. When I called today, I was told by receptionist, Lacey, that they’re in the process of “Finishing up smaller jobs”, which is the same excuse she used on March 2. I then said I expect the work to be completed by next week or I will have to take further action. Lacey replied with, “Enjoy your day” and hung up on me. So much for professionalism and customer service. If you plan to hire this company, you’d better keep those buckets handy because they are extremely slow to respond to warranty claims. You can expect to wait close to 2 months, if not more, for them to continue to make excuses (which I fully expect in their rebuttal) and put you off. As I’ve gotten nowhere with my warranty request, I’ve just contacted Baron Roofing and they’ll be here TOMORROW to repair Herb Lodde’s job.

We just had our roof done. Rob gave us great service. we ordered the same kind of shingles and was informed it was no longer available .He came by the same day and left samplesso my wife and I could choose something similar The crew was kind and polite and did a great clean up.. they even played decent music..

Herb Lodde Roofing was there for us when nobody else would do the job! Our roof is quite steep and a challenge for the average roofing company We called MANY roofing companies and some would drive by, look at the roof and never call us again. Those who would do the job quoted prices that would have a home owner requiring a second mortgage just to pay for it. It was a Godsend that we called Herb Lodde Roofing and they not only agreed to do the job, but at a price that didn't break the bank. The service was fast, friendly and reliable! They not only did the job, but went that extra mile to assure the job was done right, and the cleanup was as if they were never here! They also roofed our shed for nothing! I highly recommend this company if you need a new roof and want it done right and at a great price! These guys are the best in all of Ontario. I only wish more companies would follow their great example!

We had an old roof replacement done, plywood sections, shingles, vents added. They were fast to start and finish the job. Cleaned up at the end of each day. Very professional! Our neighbour with young children even commented that they were so great with clean-up and being respectful! We are more than satisfied with the results! Thank you and the team!

Great company and competitive pricing. Rob was always reachable and kept the project running smoothly. The crew worked extremely hard and they were always polite and considerate. Plus they left the premise as before. Couldn’t believe they could tidy everything so fast! Would highly recommend Lodde & Sons Roofing. Solid company with a good reputation and they deliver!

Update I had the new roof installed at the end of October 2021 and noticed in Feb 2022 (thats 3 months old) we had roof leaks, water coming out of electrical boxes, brown drywall, wet insulation, etc. I called the business AGAIN and asked to have Dave the owner call me about this issue. Its been a week and no return phone call, no service from the business not even an attempt to fix the leaks. All I get is excuses from the office people...im sorry this is not the service we strive to provide, or its been busy here, Daves been busy, etc. I cant believe the service from this company. I have asked to get a partial refund back so I can use that to hire a new company to fix these issues as they are unable and unwilling to fix the roof. But no responses no warranty nothing with these guys. Ive called the shingle manufacturer and unfortunately they are no help as they said this is clearly from the contractor and not our fault. I cant caution enough people to steer clear of this business as there workmanship, customer service, and warranties are useless and meaningless. Can you imagine buying a roof from this business and 3 months later looking at new roofers to fix their problems and even possibly needing a whole new roof. Its sad when other businesses come to quote me the job and laugh at this install. original review below The workmanship I received on this job has been poor. I have about 15 exposed nails in the shingles as they were not hit within the nail strip line. More exposed nails were found in the ridge caps with the same issue, driven in too low so the next cap did not over lap it. After much effort on my part and phone calls I got them to come to replace some of the issues. They showed up at 430pm at the end of October when it starts getting darker earlier. They fixed what they could find by ripping up the problem shingles and putting new ones in except for 2 areas where they left the nails and just caulked it. After 2 weeks I go back on the roof as majority of the ridge caps were not sealing. I find more exposed nails, amazing what you find in the day light and not an hour before it gets dark. Then I find many nails were at 45 degree angles causing the shingle on top to not sit flush on each other. Also on I think 5 different spots the nail is now breaking through the shingle above it. There are other spots where you can feel the nail, it just hasn’t poked through yet. I had to buy some roof adhesive to seal the shingles and to seal the areas where the nails poked through so now that there’s snow on the roof I hope I made the roof watertight. I found they did not remove the plastic seal on the bottom end of a shingle. This was noticed as it was not sealing. There were other smaller issues as well but The few pictures I’ll share speak volumes I think. There are more exposed nails than the pictures shared but you get the idea. On the positive side I will say the metal, flashing work performed by a separate crew was great, cut perfectly, and caulked water tight.
