★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a man with long hair, it’s hard to trust new stylists to give me a masculine cut. My appointment with Chrissy tonight checked all the boxes, and far exceeded my expectations. She’s a very warm conversationalist on top of her stylist talents! I had a very genuine experience with fantastic results. Strongly recommend to any men looking for a long cut! In addition, thanks to all the lovely ladies who checked me in and offered hand massages and beverages! I’ll be back soon as it grows out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been here quite a few times, most of which were good services and that's why it got 2 stars. My latest experience however, was with James Brett himself, who very obviously did not care much for me. He was very distracted by everything and everyone around and this resulted in a bad cut. I had a bald spot shaved on the back of my head, crooked ends, just a really bad haircut for it being from "James Brett".
The worst part is he was my first bad experience at the princess location, every other time the staff were great, haircuts were decent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Listen, there are tiers: 1st Choice, local barbers that do $20 cuts, $50-a-cut hair studios and then LA professionals. My guy Thomas is the man. I normally go downtown. But, I drove all the way to the west end just to make sure he cut my hair. He cuts your hair the way you want. He checks in and makes sure you're happy with what's going on. He's quick and efficient. Funny and fun to talk to. Every time I go, the staff there always seem to be either having fun or being professional, often both. Unless you're willing to pay $100+ for a men's hair cut, then there isn't a better place within a hundred KMs. You decide which tier they fall into.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sam gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a VERY long time. I have fine, 3A curly hair and she cut into a beautiful pixie cut, exactly the way I asked her to. Great texture in my hair, which is really hard to do well. She’s very meticulous and thorough, and a real joy to chat with while she works! All of the staff I interacted with were very pleasant and professional.
