I've had Oriental Delights (their competition) and I would definitely choose Jade Garden every time. On days where they aren't as busy or if you're ordering earlier/later time than dinner times, it takes no more than 10-20 minutes to receive your order (the wait time of course ranges from how big your order is). Portion size is great for the price! Their chicken balls isn't as doughy or greasy as Orientals and food is always warm and fresh. The busiest days are Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays (Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Mother's Day, etc.), so there are longer wait times during dinner times, but it still baffles me that some customers think that they're entitled to have their order completed first just because they called in earlier when many other people are thinking the EXACT SAME THING. I know Jade Garden doesn't start preparing their food until it gets closer to the hour that you want it at, so that customers receive it hot and freshly made, but getting angry and complaining really doesn't help any of their staff members. I feel sorry for them whenever customers don't understand that they're people too and they're trying their best. It's not like they want to make their customers wait any longer than they have to. Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant. Best Chinese food in town and they deliver too! Always comes with a free food item of your choice (only four choices, but it's still free food).

Love this place. Quality food . Been eating from here for more than 10 years . Has never disappointed.

Was good previously, quality of food went down. I didn't enjoy the last order as the chicken tasted old and I don't think we got black bean sauce. Sadly that's the last time I'll go back.

My mother got sick to her stomach from eating here last night and I found a piece of scrap metal in my fried rice. I only come back here for nostalgic reasons having eaten their food growing up. However over the years their quality has dropped considerably to the point where their rice no longer has any vegetables, just a few pieces of whatever protein you asked for (Shrimp in my case) and now metal. Can't say my family and I will be coming back here. As of recent I've started to frequent Harbour Delight in town which has turned out to be a much better option with less westernized quality food and friendly service.

If possible, I would give zero stars. We have ordered here before without issue, but after ordering tonight, I will not be going back. We ordered a couple of dishes for pick up, and our order was well over $50. After we checked the bags in the car to make sure all of the dishes were accounted for, we got home and realized that they had remembered the egg rolls, but our vegetarian spring rolls were missing. We then opened the remaining dishes, and after ordering wontons with no meat (which we have ordered here many times) we realized they had actually given us wontons with pork in them, which we can not eat. We called the restaurant, to ask if we could come back to pick up the spring rolls and the correct wontons (mistakes happen!). Everyone in the room could hear the woman screaming on the other end of the phone, who told us that the spring rolls were in the bag repeatedly. We told her they weren't, and the woman on the phone continued to yell and insisted that we were lying. Since she continued to just scream "Its in the bag", we just asked them to forget the spring rolls, and asked if we could bring the pork wontons back to exchange for the right ones (as the receipt stated the vegetarian type, as it was ordered over the phone), and the woman asked us "why would you return them" - we explained again we would bring them back with the receipt to show we received the wrong ones. She once again started yelling, and told us that we ordered meat ones and again told us we were lying. I have never dealt with such appalling service, where an owner or manager screams at their customers after they made an error. Will not be returning, order here at your own risk - they clearly do not care about their customers or business, so we will be ordering elsewhere from now on. Would recommend that the owners brush up on their customer service skills, or ensure that their orders are made correctly.

Placed our order for New Years Eve the night before. Scheduled time for pick up was 6pm the next day. We've done this as a new year's tradition for many years now. ​Had to wait in the parking lot another 45 mins before my food was finally ready. An $87 order - placed the night before!! Oh well Brought the food home and right away noticed that the containers were different and portion sizes were smaller. We always FILL 4 dinner plates and still have left-overs but this time not so. The Lo-mein chicken was very bland and starchy, no flavour. Really cheap on the amount of meat in the dishes. So we phoned to express our concern over the quantity size only. The person that answered the phone was conveying our concerns to the manager who wouldn't come to the phone. She basically said we were wrong , nothing has changed. Horrible customer service! Not sure if the manager is the owner, but if so they deserve to lose business when they rip off their customers and then call them liars. Can anyone recommend a new / better Chinese food place in Keswick?

Not what it used to be. I used to come regularly with my son and we would order individual combos which we both loved. Over the years the food just seemed to get worse and worse. Maybe it's because I found another Asian restaurant with much better food. I tried going back recently and I was not happy at all. The chicken fried rice was the biggest disappointment. Rice shouldn't be that difficult. The meat portions in all the dishes is just sad. Order beef and broccoli and you'll see how much beef isn't there. Very stingy with the meat. I don't expect to return any time soon. At least not until I get the terrible taste out of my mouth.

I would give this restaurant less than one star if I could. Clearly they missed 'customer service' training day. Perhaps a virtual seminar would be of great benefit.... Truly, the effects of the pandemic are the least of their concerns. Never I been treated so disrespectfully by a business. I placed a pick up order and once we got home to unpack we noticed missing and incorrect items. I called immediately and they put the owner on the phone who was incredibly rude and refused to accept that an error had occurred. I offered to return with the order so that she could see the errors and she declined She continued to raise her voice and be insulting........in what realm of business is behaving this way acceptable? Clearly they don't need my business so WILL NEVER get it again... Good luck...you truly need it! :(
