About Julia
Julia Fullerton is a Regina based hairstylist and barber dedicated to giving clients the hair experience they never knew they needed.
Julia's career has taken her from shampoo girl to salon owner—with a detour to work in film and television, study lighting at the Banff Centre for the Performing Arts and earn a gemology certificate. Seriously. Her eco-friendly salon is a safe, comfortable, and just-plain-cool place where anyone can come in and be themselves. She loves spending time with everyone who sits in her chair and delights in watching them float out the door, happier than when they came in.
Thorough with her clients, Julia gives attentive care and consideration to every aspect that goes into creating the best style for them and their lifestyle. Combining chemistry, geometry, and art Julia believes integrity, attention to detail and continuing professional education are critical to giving clients a great hairstyle. This approach has led Julia to create looks that have been featured in various magazines and it earned her the Top spot in Canada at the 2017 Contessa hairstyle awards!
When she's not at the salon—cutting hair, chatting with clients and tidying up—Julia is happiest cooking in the kitchen, spending time with friends and checking out new restaurants. And if you can trade science nerd trivia, you just might have a hairdresser friend for life.

I was very nervous to get my hair cut by someone new because of the expectations I had in my head about small talk and also worrying that the cut I wanted wouldn't be interesting enough. Well, all those nerves were for nothing because Julia put me at ease, made me love my hair and had me coming back for hair cuts a couple times a year. She's so personable, has a great laugh and good values. I love visiting Julia and her dog Blue at her shop. She's the best of the best and continues to educate herself both in her industry and out.

Julia takes the time to educate me on my options making me very confident in my hair decisions moving forwards. At the young age of 32 ? I’m going grey/white and I’m slightly embarrassed about it but I’m also low maintenance and need to still look great and feel my age, not 62. Julia gave me several great options and we agreed on a plan moving forward, leaving me not embarrassed but super excited for my hair journey.
She is kind, talented, smart. A real wholesome caring human. I’ll also add she’s soooo good at her job. Like SOO good. I frequently like to change the cut shape of my hair and she’s always for it and always delivers with amazing results I’m very happy with. I highly HIGHLY recommend Julia.
