Butcher Boy Regina has a large selection of hot sauces, BBQ sauces and rubs, dried habanero, ancho, chipotle, quajillo peppers and bulk cheeses.
We also have a unique selection of in house made sausage and hand made burgers. For special occasions, Cathedral Butcher Boy Meats offers whole ducks, lamb legs and fresh turkeys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On more than one occasion I’ve been here to purchase filet steaks. Every time I get them they’re full of fat that has to be trimmed off. I tried again today as it Sunday and my usual butcher is closed. I bought 3 8oz steaks came home and trimmed three oz of fat off. Between that and listening to the owners have some sort of marital spat in front of the customers I’ll just stop going here all together.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't shop here often as it's very out of the way for me, but I don't hesitate to go here either. Quite a selection of meats, with some, at least what I would consider, eclectic types of meat on hand; I can't say that they always stock the same meats, but I have seen kangaroo and ostrich, among others, in their display case. I don't lean that way myself, but I have purchased beef brisket and pork shoulders here for smoking, their prices are at least competitive and the meat quality is good. It's also nice to have an actual butcher to talk to about the cut of meat your looking for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I also had a bad experience with the rude owner...he never wore gloves when handling the meat...never saw him wash his hands before handling the meat and when I asked about why no gloves? He said he used the plastic wrap..not very clean during this difficult time. No hand sanitizer for customers to use...just two rude people who yelled at me saying they only allow one person at a time, even though there were two people in the store, one was a child, but how is a person to know if someone is in there or not? Maybe they should be manning the door instead of yelling at customers. He kept saying back up...even though he was behind the counter and then when it was time to pay...he rang in the order, I stepped forward to pay and he backed away, I asked if he finished ringing in the order and he said no because I was not 6 feet away. I walked out and again he was rude and condescending. I will never shop and would not recommend Butcher Boy. If they are so paranoid, why are they not wearing a mask or using gloves when handling raw meat...you go to Italian Star and they are all wearing masks and gloves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meat packs are definately pretty good for what you get. Felt uncomfortable entering the store both times, and instantly being told to wait out in the cold (Covid store limits). No hello, no smile, no welcome, just wait outside. We wanted to browse and possibly buy more meat, additionaly to the pack we were to purchase. Very decent pack otherwise.

Their Covid protocols have been spot on during the entire pandemic and I feel more than safe when I shop there. Their products are always fresh and delicious.
