The furnace in our home decided to quit yesterday, and it was later in the evening before we noticed the house getting colder and colder. I went online to the J&A website and found a link for an emergency phone number, which I called. A J&A service rep answered the phone, and after a short conversation concluded that he would be able to direct me - over the phone - on how to correct the problem. And it worked. His directions were clear and accurate, and after ten minutes - and without a service visit - the furnace was running smoothly again. Great Service J&A. We had our very first AC unit EVER installed in our two story home in late June ad we LOVE it. The experience as a whole was fantastic. Breanne was informative , would always reply promptly, and was a pleasure to talk to and coordinate services with. The staff that came to our house for the inspection and later for the installation were all friendly and efficient. Even the people they subcontracted were pleasant to work with and were honest with us when they noticed our humidifier was both wired wrong AND busted. Breanne was able to get someone else to install a new humidifier within the week and, again, we had people brought into the house who were customer service focused and were good at their jobs. My husband says "If you have half a brain in your head, you would hire J&A Heating & Plumbing!"

We were in need of a new furnace and i checked out quit a few dealers, in the end we went with J and A and we were not disappointed. They were very professional and friendly. i would highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace their furnace. Great job guys.

When it’s the coldest day of winter in Saskatoon and your furnace goes on the fritz, who do you call? J&A Heating and Plumbing! Dan came out promptly to our residence. We were provided a couple of furnace options from which to choose. Given the time of day, the furnace wasn’t installed until the next day. No worries. Dan provided us with a portable heater overnight. The next morning Dan, Chad and Lance were onsite. The old furnace was removed and the new one was up and running by late morning. The next day, Cam installed the new thermostat. They even provided a couple of complimentary furnace filters. Excellent, quality and personable service. We would definitely recommend J&A Heating and Plumbing. Also, they service all of the mechanical systems at our business and provide yearly maintenance. Thanks.

We have been dealing with J&A for a number of years with their yearly maintenance program. This has provided us with peace of mind as our furnace and air conditioner aged, we knew that Steven from J&A would keep them operating at their best. We knew that our equipment was aging and would need to be replaced at some point. Well 2021 turned out to be a challenge but with Dan ,our J&A Comfort Advisor, things went so much easier. First we needed to replace the water softener. Dan helped us select a new model and even made sure that we had salt on hand to get us started. A short time later both the furnace and water heater began to act up and once Steven confirmed a hairline crack in heat exchanger in the furnace we knew we had to act. Dan helped us select the units we needed and everything was set for the next Wednesday. The furnace quit working Sunday morning and I called Dan to see if they could move up the installation. He offered to bring us extra space heaters and started phoning other J&A staff to make things happen. By that afternoon we knew that J&A would be here Monday morning. Sure enough Monday morning there were three workers at our home and they got to work. By lunch time they had everything installed and we back to normal, actually better. The new furnace is so much more efficient than our old one it keeps our house warmer during these January days. The water heater is fantastic, we didn't realize how much capacity and efficiency we had lost due to scale build up. Would I recommend J&A Heating & Plumbing? You bet, their service and workmanship is excellent . If you have a heating or plumbing problem call them. I would even say call Julie at the office and sign up for their yearly maintenance program for your peace of mind and she can set up an appointment for a check up right away.

We bought our house 8 years ago and when our furnace was acting up I saw a sticker on the furnace for J&A so we called them. The tech came out and spent 10 minutes showing my wife and I what to do. He didn't charge us at all. We were so glad and appreciative of his kindness and we always said we would call again if we ever needed them. 8 years later we needed them. On the hottest day of the year so far, our air conditioning quit. I called them and they told me they couldn't get to see us for a few days. I said thank you but I will try some other places. About 15 minutes later they called me back and offered to try and get me in the next day around 1pm. I am so glad they made it work because every other place I called was also booked up. The next day the tech showed up and began working on my a/c. He was up front about the possible issues and we then discussed what to do next. He provided me with all my options and waited as I decided. Thankfully he was able to fix it for less than expected and got our house back to a livable climate. I will always recommend J&A to anyone that listens from the people on the phone to the people they sent over, it was a fantastic experience. Thank you.

If there is 0, I would not pick 1 star. They proposed a replacement on my water heater for 2,750 but I spend 3 dollar to replace the drain valve and fixed it. My water heater dripping water from a valve. They send a technician told my wife the tank was leaking and there is no way to fix it we should replace it with a new one. They provide a quote for replacement for 2,750. My colleague helped me to check it up on the same day. We bought a 2.77 valve and replaced it. There is no leaking at all now. I told this to the manager "Todd" on the second day and was expecting an apologize for that. Todd gave me a big surprise by defensing that the replacement is an option. I told him the technician told my wife the tank was leaking but obviously it is not. Why I need a replacement? He told me to replace or not is your choice. I am so disappointed to talk to him. I was offering an opportunity to correct this issue within their own company but he takes me as a fool. I told him If this is the way they treat their customers, I would post this on google, facebook and let my friends know what they did. ********* July 31 2017 Added Let me make it clear. The only offer we received was to spend 2,750 to replace the whole water heater. We did not receive any offer or quotation to replace the drain valve. Do not fool anyone on this point again and again. Also I can accept the technician may have wrong diagnoses that he thought the tank was leaking although it was not, but I can not accept that the manager tried to cover it. Also I am not surprised that Todd Weiler also shown in the Google reviews, I believe, he is the manager I talked to and rated their own company 5 stars (Unless there happened to be a customer has the same first name and last name with this manager). My wife trusted those reviews and pick up this company, but this rate, I believe, should not be rated by themselves.

J&A once again came to our rescue and we couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. They were able to send someone out to us promptly, the service technician was thorough and walked me through everything he was doing and made sure I was ok with what needed done and they fixed our issue the first time once and for all. We have used J&A in the past, and they will be our first call in the future!
