I chose this place after the previous vet closed down. Their environment is clean and well organized. I felt comfortable than any other places I have checked. People are nice and friendly. My cat doesn't like vets but he was able to manage his 1st appointment. The doctor comforted him very well. Waiting time was less than what I expected.

We take both our cats to this clinic. Everyone is friendly and they take good care of our fur babies. They are a little on the higher end in terms of price but totally worth it to ensure the best quality care for our cats ?. Certificates are a cute touch ☺️

We've been very satisfied with all the doctors and staff at Islington Village Animal Hospital since they started taking of Tia, our tiny Yorkie. For the past few years, they have taken the best care of our senior Maltie, Maggie. Recently Maggie has been challenged with heart issues. We were worried at first but over the past month, Maggie has gotten the absolute best care and we have nursed her back to good health. We depend on their advice and guidance! Thank you all so very much!

I want to say a huge thank you to the team at Islington Village Animal Hospital (especially Dr. Garrett and Dr. Nawas) for the great care they've always provided to my pets. My dog Oscar had an eye infection that wouldn't heal, so his eye needed to be removed yesterday. The entire IVAH team was wonderful and Dr. Garrett did the surgery for my best buddy for a very reasonable price. Although IVAH is a business, and their staff deserves to be well compensated for their work, I've always felt that they put the well-being of my animals before profit and that really means a lot to me.

We had an emergency, our dog has been choking because of dry food, we arrived to this place first time, again it was an emergency and this clinic was the only opened nearly. When we got in, the administrator refused our request for help because everything was booked even though our dog could barely breathe. One of the customers offered their appointment us, however staff refused their offer, they said that they couldn’t do it. The administrator gave us emergency address of nearly place where we can get help. While we were sitting there waiting for a taxi, staff heard our dog’s barely breathing, choking and despite this, any assistance was not offered. Then, we got to other emergency clinic that they directed, as a result, that clinic moved to other place 9 KILOMETERS AWAY FROM THAT PLACE! Again, our dog could BARELY BREATHE!!! Any assistance, no help.

I just wanted to share that this vet is currently NOT taking new patients. I’ve recently moved to this area and am looking for a new vet for my cat. I found this vet has many of good reviews so I contacted. Unfortunately this place isn’t taking new parents now, but I was able to add my name on their waiting list. Hope my cat can get a checkup soon!

Can’t say enough good things about this clinic. The entire staff is amazing and provide a high level of care to their clients and fur babies. I have interacted with all Dr’s at IVAH and have been very impressed by their kindness and compassion when dealing with my elderly dog. Dr. Nawas has helped my dog overcome a chronic skin issue and has given her the ability to live her best life. This is more than we could have ever have hoped for and we are eternally grateful for all her hard work. A heartfelt THANK YOU to you all. And thank you for all your hard work during the pandemic.

I don’t usually leave google reviews but this one is a little overdue as every interaction I have with this veterinary hospital has been amazing. I brought my small senior dog in for a very last minute emergency appointment as she was extremely lethargic and was not herself at all. She’s an unspayed senior dog with mammary abscesses. This unfortunately means she’s prone to infections. I brought her to this hospital in a panic and despite how frantic and last minute my visit was, the vet techs were nothing short of amazing and compassionate. They squeezed me in for an appointment not too long from when I dropped in unexpectedly. I then met Dr. Garrett, who similarly to the staff, was also very compassionate and comforting. He laid out all of my options clearly and genuinely wanted to do what would be best for my dog. He tailored her medication and treatment very carefully, considering her age and condition, which I appreciated. It has now been approximately 2-3 months since our visit and unfortunately my dog experienced an infection again a few nights ago. Due to the fact that it was the weekend and around midnight, I had to take her to emergency hospital. They took care of her and all was well but the reason I’m bringing this up is because I also gave Islington Village a call to just ask a technical question about cleaning my dog’s abscesses and Dr. Garrett took the time to give me a call to check up on my dog and talk about her recent emergency visit. He took his time and gave me more insight on her condition despite us not even coming in for a visit. I know this is probably a long winded review but I know that when I google veterinary hospitals, I appreciate detailed reviews to know what I’m walking into. Long story short, if you’re looking for a very caring veterinary hospital who genuinely looks out for their patients, this is it!
