IRIS Optometrists and Opticians

I haven’t been to the eye doctor in ages so it was nice to come back to a nice and friendly office the staff was great and super patient with me I can’t wait to come back for my by annual eye exam!

Iris has amazing customer service. We always enjoy our visit with Dr. Parikh as he makes everyone feel comfortable and at home. The opticians and administrative staff are friendly and helpful. They always keep the wait times to a minimum, they provide great options for their customers, and show that they care about each individual. Highly recommended!!

My experience with the IRIS team was fantastic from beginning to end. I hadn't had my eyes examined in years and knew I'd likely be needing glasses, so I was a little nervous. ​To start from the top, the team members who booked (and rebooked) my appointment were a complete delight between walking me through their COVID protocols (which are excellent, so rest easy on that count if you're nervous) and helping me rebook my appointment when I had to move it unexpectedly. At my appointment, the person - whose name I'm sorry to say I didn't catch - who took me through the first round of tests was very knowledgeable and efficient but still approachable and kind. She took the time to talk me through what each test was and what to expect, and the process was smooth, easy, and pleasant. Dr. Parikh saw me just a few minutes later, and was also very friendly and efficient. The examination was thorough and genuinely stress-free. He explained everything he was doing, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. He listened attentively to everything I said throughout our appointment, and went out of his way to explain all of his conclusions and recommendations in easy-to-understand ways. Finally, the associate who guided me through the glasses selection process before I left was great as well. She listened carefully to my preferences, assessed my sense of style, and nailed it right off the bat, immediately pulling three pairs of glasses that I loved despite working off of pretty minimal input from me, as I've never worn glasses before and didn't have much to contribute. She was also very thorough in explaining the benefits of purchasing and the warranty system IRIS offers for their glasses (both excellent, by the way) but there was no hard-sell pressure whatsoever. Overall, I truly could not be more delighted with my experience with IRIS and the IRIS team from the moment I called to book my appointment to walking out the door with my prescription. If you're looking for eye and vision care in Oshawa, do not hesitate to book with IRIS. You'll be glad you did.

Best optometrist in the area. My whole family sees Dr. Supan. He assessed my 6yr old daughter and gave her a great prescription. He patiently addressed all my concerns. The front desk staff is amazing. Being a business owner myself I know how hard it is to get the best behaved and caring front desk personnel. Keep up the great work IRIS. Sam

I am a long term, very satisfied IRIS customer!! My admiration of staff is excellent. Always greeted my name, treated as a valued client and everyone is very friendly. Dr. Parikh is professional and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed, get a very thorough examination and am confident my eyes are in good shape. I have told Dr Parikh he can not leave till I pass lol.

I was with Iris in the past. I followed their Optometrist to her private practice when she left Iris. She is now specializing and does not practice regular Optometry visits at her specialized practice, so I returned to Iris. Dr. Supan and his associates are very thorough and offered many helpful suggestions to offer ongoing care for my aging senior eyes. I highly recommend this Optometry practice.

I recently went to IRIS and had my eyes examination done by Dr. Supan. From the beginning of the testing with one of the associates, continuing with being tested by the doctor, discussing with him about my concerns, followed by receiving help from another associate to choose new frames, I received attention with a very friendly and knowledgeable approach.
