Iris Nail Salon

I’ve come to IRIS nail salon for years. I’ve had no issues with staff or the quality of their work. I find if you are clear with what you want whether it be a design or colour the staff at IRIS always deliver.

FIRST VISIT...Great place... they take time to do your nails which was great cause I didn't feel rushed. The lady that worked on my nails was super nice. We laughed a lot and she kept double checking if I was satisfied with each major cut/shapping/color etc. UPDATE....SECOND VISIT Went here again to get a fill highly disappointed first of all the owner, I believe her name is Helen (mature lady that speaks English more fluently than the rest of the employees) she did a terrible job with my nails as opposed to the first time I went in there when I had this other friendly lady. Helen- took over and my nails were not nice/not smoothed out arches AND WENT FAST SO I KEPT GETTING CUT all because it got super busy and she didn't have enough staff on...and wanted to earn money. On top of it all I was charged $10 to add sparkle polish and then an extra $10 for a design that didn't even look anything like I wanted. So it ended up being $65 BEFORE taxes and creditcard fees for something that was very poorly done. I was not happy. I should have done a very basic fill and left. I am not alone in my feelings as I heard many clients complaining about the extra surcharges that were being added to for them and small arguments over the service. This establishment definitely adds charges for very minor things that most nail salons offer for free just be aware that if you're going here you will be charged unexpectedly more than what is listed. It's disheartening because my first experience there was so pleasant and lovely. It's probably best to go to a better place that offers continuous quality, no hidden fees and maintains good customer service.

Hani did my nails. She was great! Good prices, good job done on my nails. I brought my 9 year old daughter and her nails were well done too. Manager/owner seemed a bit uptight, but the people helping us were nice. My daughter wanted a design, but mentioned it after her nails were done so it was too late. They told me I should’ve told them earlier. They should’ve asked us earlier especially as my daughter is a kid and kids usually loves designs. We’ll be back anyway.

I bought a Groupon for this place to get a shellac manicure done. By far one of the very best salons in the area that pay so much attention to detail it’s ridiculous. I would highly recommend the nail tech “Pham” for your services. I’ve never been so happy and they did not use a machine to file down my real nails. I just don’t appreciate them communicating in their own language while pointing at my nails.. makes me wonder what they’re saying.. I wrote this review after my nail experience that I was extremely happy with unfortunately two days after the nails started coming off and peeling (see picture 2). I called the salon and they said come back at 4 PM and will fix them this for you I arrived and after no one acknowledged me they took the walk-in that came after me to do her nails and later a lady came up to me and said what’s your problem? She told me she does not have time and I have to wait half an hour even though she’s the one that told me to come at 4pm? I am now sitting here waiting for them to fix my nails and the lady has raised her voice at me multiple times spoke to all the other employees in their own language and has been nothing but rude.

Average: quality, price, service...every visit is a little different. I like it when Helen does my nails. I’ve experienced the “bubbling” that others have mentioned. I’ve gone back. And they were able to fix it.

I usually don't post negative reviews but I am so disappointed in the job that was done on my nails, there only 5 days in and look how uneven they are and my advice is if u go at 6pm and it's busy but they say they can take u in don't bother wait cuz your gonna end up with a job like this but yet u pay full price and if u point out the mistake they don't listen they just say thats how it's supposed to be. To be specific if was the owner herself.

There are so many bad reviews here so I was inclined to go there at first, but then decided to give them a try. May did an amazing job on my nails. She had great attention to detail and took her time to do a perfect job. She did the design exactly as I wanted and I’m really satisfied with the result. What I wanted: the pic with green nails The result: the one with orange nails I’ll definitely go back. 5/5 well deserved!
