THE IREPEX YOU ONCE KNEW HAS CHANGED & IS NOT THE SAME!!!!!!!!! I’ve been coming to iRepex since Farshad was working out of his apartment around 2013. I go nowhere else for any of my phone or MacBook needs. Unfortunately I wouldn’t advise anyone to visit this place anymore. The people that work there now are completely useless and have NO customer support. Came in exactly two weeks ago to replace the screen on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. After speaking with the consultant behind the counter, I was guaranteed that the display screen would be OEM and would come with a 2 month warranty.. immediately after installation my iPhone gave me a message saying that the screen is β€œnot original, or it was installed incorrectly and features may not work correctly..” After showing the man behind the counter he assured me that apple needs to update it within their internal system and it could take up to 4 days, and the message will go away. It’s been 2 weeks & the message is still there and my screen constantly acts erratic (types random letters I’m not pressing, becomes hard to click random spots of the screen at random times). I went into the store to talk to them and see if there’s anything they could do. They basically told me there was no work order in their system relating to my device repair (funny, wasn’t there suppose to be a warranty? But somehow it never got registered in their system?). Oh, let’s not forget the message they GUARANTEED me would go away is permanent and I have to live with it. Not to mention there is a dent in my screen from the inside. As if while installing it, something from the inside is pressing against the screen creating a dent coming out, not in. This is clearly visible in daylight. They didn’t offer to do a single thing other while they sat there looking all confused shrugging their shoulders. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. Farshad created a great business with amazing customer service, you have ruined it.

Amazing service! Fixed my iPhone 11 Pro in 2 hours when the Apple store told me I need to buy a new phone. Very honestly and fast!

The best place hands down to get a repair done for a device at a reasonable price. Device I needed repaired was an Iphone 7 with a Motherboard failure problem and potential risk of data loss. Price was more than reasonable as I tipped an extra $10 for the service and patience the staff had provided to me. On May 3rd my Iphone 7 (One I had not backed up since I got it 5 years ago) decided to not turn on nor charge for the day. I consulted 3 different locations until one of the locations recommended iRepex to me. Upon arriving I was told by the staff that the issue of the phone was one related to the motherboard and charging IC. At that point I had thought all was lost because I was told there would be a 50/60% chance that during the repair my data may be wiped but I would not be charged if they could not fix the problem. As such I decided to leave my phone with them and hope for the best. On the second day I was relieved to find out that they were successful in repairing the Mother Board's charging IC and that my phone was operational to the point that I can proceed to do a physical and ICloud back up. This is the point where the exceptionalism of this establishment started shining. During said day I proceeded to start an Iphone ICloud back up and a physical back up to an external hardrive that I had brought to the location. The physical back up however was going to take longer than the store was to be open and guess what? They ALLOWED me to stay almost 45 minutes after closing to get the physical back up done, here's the funny part, at around 96% the back up was stuck in a loop and failed so I decided to cut it short and leave the store to not make it seem like I was abusing their goodwill. (At this time they could see that I was very flustered regarding potentially loosing 5 years of data and thus accommodated my requests in data retrieval). I left the barely alive Iphone 7 in ICloud back up mode and was re-assured that the device would not die again on me prior to retrieving the information. As I returned on the third day I was greeted with bad but good news showcasing the forward thinkingness of the staff. The Icloud back up from the previous day had failed but prior to me returning to the store the staff had re-initiated the back up so when I arrived the time remaining for the back up to be completed was minimal. Upon confirmation that the Icloud back up was indeed completed and worked I rushed to the nearest apple store to buy me a new device and bring it back to the repair shop. My initial repair was only to be the restoration of the motherboard but upon further diagnoses the charger port too was damaged and needed to be replaced. Calling it a day I gave permission to the staff to fully repair the phone (at this point the phone was gutted and had an external charger connected directly to the battery to keep it on long enough to retrieve data). They told me to return the next day and guaranteed that due to the initial mother board repair that replacing the charger port would not put the data at risk. On the fourth and final day I returned to pick up my Iphone 7. The data was secured and it was more than capable of maintaining and holding a charge. I gave the staff an extra $10 as a tip for staying true to their word and saving this phone and its memories for me. I have taken many of their cards and have been passing them to family and friends that may have issues with their devices. I was able to back up to my new phone via the quick start feature Apple Devices have, and now have an icloud backup of all my information. I respect and appreciate this repair place for their service. Side Note: After leaving my phone the first day I too started scouring these reviews to see if this place was indeed legit. I can confirm to others seeking to find if it is worth it to bring your devices here or not that it is indeed. THEY DO NOT SWAP PARTS OR FURTHER DAMAGE YOUR PHONE SO THAT YOU END UP SPENDING MORE MONEY. At least, in my experience this was not the case.

I had an issue with my phone and Kale repaired it within only a few hours. He is very professional, friendly and the pricing is fair. I am very happy with iRepex and definitely recommend it!

I needed my phone fixed before my shift ended. So I googled places around my work and found irepex on Yonge st. I went during my break to get my iPhone XS screen replaced. I saw some reviews and honestly was a little hesitant. But I needed my phone fixed asap so I gave them a chance. Honestly, I have no regrets, they had it fixed in a hour, I picked it up after work and they even gave me a screen protector (really nice gesture). Kale and his female coworker (never got her name) we’re professional and kind. Would definitely recommend thanks again!

Gear service and prices! Kale was able to quickly identify the issues on my iPhone 11 pro max and repaired it within days! Super fast and easy to community with. Highly recommended!

Today was my fourth visit to this store over the last decade. I took in 2 older iPhones to have new batteries installed. Mission accomplished. I paid full price ($60 each plus HST) for this service. Kale continues to impress with his open and honest guidance. I only wish more small business owners understood the value of being honest. it's the only way to get repeat business! Thanks!!

Kale is extremely accommodating and his the best at what he does. I’ve been coming here for years and they never fail to impress me. Break my phone quite often and they show me appreciation for being a repeat customer. Absolutely recommend this place for all electronic repair needs.
