β β β β β Katsuya is a small and authentic Japanese food place. The food is really amazing. They serve lemon water instead of plain water and the miso soup is really nice. I tried different food options out of which I would highly recommend karaage chicken wing and white snow chilli katsu chicken. The staff is super friendly. They donβt have reservations for weekend so expect a 30 minute wait time window. I would definitely visit this place again to try more food.

β β β β β Great service and outstanding food! The server was very attentive and kind. I always order pork loin katsu and it never disappoints. Taste is always consistent. Pork loin pieces are big, juicy, crispy and satisfying! It still tastes really crispy and good, even if you order take out. Not to mention, their sauces are thick, delicious, and savoury. My favourite is the Sweet Chili Katsu and Curry Katsu. ??
They also offer 10% off discount if you pay in cash. Looking forward to coming back when their expansion next door is complete!

β β β β β Had the opportunity to dine-in at Katsuya recently. I tried the gold and silver Katsu which is mozza and cheddar cheese Katsu with pork-loin. It was fairly flavourful and quite a filling meal. Their miso soup was also a nice treat. The restaurant itself wasn't too busy or full. There was only one waitress there serving multiple tables but the service was relatively quick. Parking is limited though but there is parking in front and behind the store.

β β β β β Used to be pretty good, with funtastic donkatsu, nice interior and reasonable pricing. Now, they are expanding, but still has very limited parking spaces. Though there were no improvements made in quality, quantity, or service, the pricing went up quite a bit over the years. Donβt get me wrong. I understand inflation and itβs still pretty good, all things considered, but there is a new, arguably better, alternative down the street.

β β β β β Absolutely delicious and flavourful chicken katsu. I love everything honey butter flavoured so the fries were a must-have and they did not disappoint. Great customer service and atmosphere. It was my first time eating here and it will definitely not be the last!

β β β β β Been visiting katsuya ever since they first opened and now they have a location right by my house! Iβm glad theyβre expanding, they have some great katsu. A bit pricy, but the portions are huge so I donβt mind. I know itβs not the popular choice, but their creamy udon is a must try.

β β β β β A variety of sauces with generous portions. Personal favourite is the garlic or spicy garlic with cheese tenderloin. Spacious with an open kitchen. You can also refill rice, salad, and miso soup. The restaurant itself is also spacious, clean, and well maintained. Servers are nice.

β β β β β I absolutely love Katsuya. This location was the first one as long as I can remember and they never disappoint. Their katsus are always on point, quality and quantity alike, and their customer service is top notch.
Even when I went to Korea, I personally liked Katsuya better than places there.
All in all, I will keep coming back to this place continuously.
