β β β β β Food and drinks were ok. Server was kind but only took our order, too busy to do anything else. The bartender was gruff verging on rude, also too busy to do anything else but made me and my friends too nervous to flag him down for another drink after watching him interact with other customers so we left early. Management is who I view as responsible, they need to be managing either staff or customer levels better because neither side enjoyed it.

β β β β β Irene's is one of my favorite spots in ottawa! Always makes you feel like home, the service is so quick and friendly, the food/drink is amazing, and I never fail to have the best time there. Would highly recommend!! Especially the shows they put on!!

A visit to one of the areaβs best courtyard patios, and you will quickly find that all that youβll be in good hands.
The beer selection continues to have breadth for all tastes and fancies.
The reworked menu will surely evolve and grow. That said - the Mac-Attack Cheeseburger was spot on! The accompanying fires - crispy, golden.
The service (many thanks Sean) was engaging, friendly and caring.

β β β β β Yummy brunch, lovely courtyard. Dog-friendly patio! Tater tots are so good and fluffy. Generally a good atmosphere for dining. I'm sad their mac n' cheese is no longer on the menu though. It was the best in the city!

β β β β β Great experience all around! Wonderful coffee! Broccoli & Cheddar soup was delicious! The staff was friendly and very helpful given a strange request that was made. Great lunch on a beautiful spring day.
