None of the banks we talked to would finance a significant portion of our bare land purchase, but Interior Savings came to the table with a 25% down mortgage. On top of that, they beat everyone else's rates - including the big bank that I've had an account with since I was 8 years old.
Sara helped us complete the application and commitment process on our terms - by email, respecting our work schedules. I kept expecting obstacles and red tape, but she made everything easy.
We're now putting plans together for our dream home, and we couldn't be happier. Thanks @Sara and both the Merritt and Kamloops branches for helping us make this happen.
