★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only royal bank I have delt with that the ATM runs out if money on weekends but gives you the option of getting American currency ??????? I phoned RBC and they claim they dont own the ATM machine???? So if your a RBC client in Merritt BC .. your a second class customer who has limited access to theor own money. Time to change banks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I began dealing with the Royal Bank 13 years ago when I first came to Merritt. Every time I have gone into the bank has been a pleasant experience. The front-line staff are courteous, professional and friendly. They genuinely care!! I’ve recently moved my mom here and she lives with the onset of Alzheimer’s. Taking care of her banking matters with her can be challenging at times to say the least, as I extend to her the dignity she deserves while making sure business is completed. The staff have been so kind and patient with mom! I can’t express enough how much I appreciated the respect given mom yesterday by Joanne, by Fay when we first set up her account and by Kim, Leah and all the other staff every time we go into the branch. Louise, You and your team are amazing professionals and I thank you very much! The Merritt Branch of RBC operates how a bank should be run.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The branch is good but my beef is with the customer service when you call. It took me 3 calls to have an account closed. Account was supposed to come off profile as well but still there. I have called 4 times about another account to be closed as well, I was told it was still pending, please hold while I try to find out Why? I said no, will go to branch. At least things are done there immediately.
