โ โ โ โ โ Intact insurance Ruined my families life. Sincerely. Our house burning down was not enough. They had to sue us for 1million and
make us claim bankruptcy. Because it was a "preventable" fire. As our deepfryer malfunctioned and spread a grease fire across our floors. Somehow that was our fault. Steer very clear of this evil.. evil company.

โ โ โ โ โ If you want things done efficiently, don't go with intact insurance. I made a claim in the beginning of October for my truck. It took them a whole month to even look at it. Then finally they came to a decision and they said they sent the cheque to us. 3 weeks later I called to see why the cheque was taking so long and found out they hadn't even sent it out. Beyond frustrated.

โ โ โ โ โ Truly terrible company to deal with. Customer service is awful, and took such a long time to get back about my claim. Claims department was super frustrating to deal with, and they gave me a terrible price anyways. I usually donโt right reviews but do not use this company. They will not fight on your behalf or help you more than the bare minimum.

โ โ โ โ โ My daughter was in an accident on January 17/2022 there has been very little contact from intact on the matter it has now been over two months, Iโve left numerous messages and emails for the under writer krista devost with no response at all from her , I did receive one call from an individual ( not krista devost ) just to get information on the incident. So my daughters vehicle is just sitting with no idea on what I can do with it. All I have to say is that they are certainly quick to take your money and have absolutely no interest in providing the service you pay for and the customer service is not there at all. I am already looking for a new provider for when itโs time to renew my policies.

โ โ โ โ โ This is not how intact insurance should treat thier long trem custmers
this is not acceptable. We have been a custmer for 10 years. Intact has had 6 1/2 months with our claim. Intact insurance adds say that they deal with claims with in 48 hour we are now 6 1/2 months . Intact will not extend the rental truck when we have 2000 left in coverage for the rental. So intact has left us paying the bill on the rental truck so we can get to work. We never heard from intact until March of 2022. We never got the estimate until March 10 2022. There was things on the estimate that had nothing to do with the theft of the truck. We have been down to inspect our truck we went over it and the truck run like it did when we drove it from Ontario to Alberta. When we told them that. They told us that we cant pick what gets fixed and what does not get fixed. We told them what was done when the truck was stolen and the only repaires that need to be fixed was windsheld, tires,ignition lock and the door lock that haeppened in the theft of the truck. So there is nothing wrong with the engine. Intact is trying to steal are truck instead of fixing it.
This is not acceptable

โ โ โ โ โ If I could give no stars , that would be good. Dealing with these guys with a accident I got into where a guy that is insured by intact hit me from behind. The Intact Ins agents will not get back my adjuster to determine fault. My accident was on Nov 25, 2021, still waiting. I would never EVER think of moving to these guys for my insurance! At one point I was actually going to get a quote from them, NO WAY!

โ โ โ โ โ Worst company ever. I dont reccommend for car or renters insurance. They like to overcharge and not reinburst. They have no customer service skills. They dont like to help there clients. They were no help at all with a collison claim and when i worked for a restoration company, intact was the worst for renters insurace. My clients always had issues with them. Unorganzied and money scammers.

โ โ โ โ โ After calling a rep to obtain an automobile quote, he was polite however; his promised call back by the end of the following day never materialized. While I realize there could be more to the story I maybe unaware of; it has now been fully 10 (ten) days from the promised following day callback....and ya, no follow-up. Not impressed.
