One of the things I loved the most about working with Serena was her balanced approach and how much research she put into her documents. I like a lot of content and she was able to provide suggestions on podcasts, books, studies and also provided her own content tailored to my needs. The documentation was geared towards specific eating habits to help understand and break them down in an easy to comprehend way. The recipes suggested didn't have outlandish ingredients that I would never be able to afford. I really appreciated how Serena was able to help reframe unhealthy negative talk surrounding my eating and weight concerns to help me build self confidence. She helped me learn how to still eat foods I enjoy, just in moderation and regain better control of cravings. She makes herself available to help answer questions in between appointments as well which came in handy when I felt stuck. I highly recommend working with Serena if you are looking for a health plan that is long term and sustainable.

When I decided to see a nutritionist, I had three goals in mind. After my meetings with Serena, I feel they have been meant. 1- The biggest shift I experienced, I'm no longer in a love-hate relationship with food. I am comfortable eating three meals a day with a variety of foods. I discovered that there are many wonderful foods that are great-tasting and nutritious too. 2- The second goal was to learn and understand how to read the Nutrition Fact labels in foods. I now understand that it’s not all about calories or fat but so much more. 3- The last one is I discovered the enjoyment of cooking for myself. My experience with Serena has been wonderful and eye-opening.
