He is very welcoming and he will definitely be seeing me for all the other tax years. I recommend him to anyone that needs their taxes done, he will sit down with you for as long as you need and gives great advice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deserves 0 star. The worst kind of tax so-called "expert":
1/ Careless, probably incompetent. Not able to tell what documents are necessary, he just sent us a list of documents of varying relevance and we had to figure it out. Then called us to ask for things we had already sent, that can be looked up easily in one single email thread of just a few emails - very concise ones, at that.
2/ Deceiving (at the very least to himself). Promised us to deliver "tomorrow" every week, for a month straight - even after the tax deadline for everyone.
3/ Unreliable. We had to be on his back constantly, either to tell him ourselves what we needed to provide, or to check in on all his unfulfilled promises.
4/ Unprofessional. No contract, no quote, no nothing - in spite of regularly asking for it. Just a waste of time and money (we're a month late because of him), and nothing to prove in court.
5/ Selfish: he did not even have the decency to do anything else than not answering my three last emails, which were progressively more annoyed and firm. He just bailed, at some point, and did not even tell us he had. How difficult is it to just say "Sorry, I have to abandon your case"?
I treated him with respect, patience, and fairness - and I hope I am still being fair -, and by writing this review I lost it all. Saddening.

FR: Pour ceux ne parlant pas anglais: en résumé, expérience désastreuse - la pire que j'aie jamais eue en matière de service pour quelque chose d'aussi important. Vous auriez peut-être de la chance en restant, mais cela vaut-il le risque ?
